The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.
Helms Deep model by ztree, environment design by Enagan and retextures of the mountain rocks and some other environmental textures by me (Maegfaer).
Still WIP.
@MysticalCharizard: There aren't houses in the fortress. Probably just living quarters and tents behind the walls. And considering its a fortress meant only as a form of defense, I'd say that Helm's Deep is reserved to military-only (in the books, the Rohirrim peasants that don't fight go to Dunharrow to protect themselves, not the Glittering Caves behind Helm's Deep, before the Battle of the Hornburg begins)
Good luck on minas tirith guys :)
Nah, dont you know that Minas Morgul is where the fun is at? Think of all those glowing walls! :-p
OMG! that is amazing keep up the good work
That is simply epic.
Looks nice!!
I might only be remembering it from the movies, but even in the books, wasn't Helms Deep described as being built from fairly large-ish stones?
If so, those look kinda small :P
But I wouldn't be surprised If I'm wrong lol. Regardless, all of your guys' work is absolutely amazing! I can't wait till its done! :D
im quite sure that its still a wip
From what I understood, they were just working on color tweaks and such for the stones now.
It's still awesome anyway so it doesn't matter that much. lol
this is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH FROM ALL OF US
I have 1 single question if I am going to join the battle in helms deep will there be so many troops as its in the movie?
just wondering becuase no computer will be capable to make that I think
btw it looks really amazing
most of that army would be lod, with them turning into actual units when getting closer.
Cool, but I have one critique, if I may sound too purist. The Hornburg was built right up against the White Mountains, but I see just rocky hills in the back, showing gaps of blue sky. I believe the mountains behind the fortress should jut upward, as if the keep were carved right out of the mountain.
