MERP is a total conversion modification of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Explore Middle-earth in a fully open-ended environment like you've never seen before. Play races like Elves, Men, Hobbits and Dwarves and take part in the War of the Ring.

Where is orc? I can see only armour.
wheres the wookie i only see fur lol ;)
Trandoshan detected. :D
It's rather armour with "orc"
nice! cant wait to kill a bunch of them in an epic last stand on a hill... that might happen right?
This mod is becoming better and better!!
It's an orc wearing a man-skirt!!!!!!
where does this orc come from??? scotland?, this is based on the books :p i can't remember an orc wearing a skirt in the movies XD nice job
The movies were centered on Peter Jackson and his crews' visions of Middle-Earth. Obviously MERP is going to be the MOD TEAM's visions of M-E.
eh... dude its just creativity
this is cool but when is the mod coming out? :D
Not a good question, it will be a long time before this mod comes out since its pretty big to do.
very nice. The armor is coming along nicely!
Nice job.
ME is based on Medieval times. More close to medieval, then present day. So it's obvious that people and Orcs will wear "Tunics". They are the basic set of clothing for that time. I took inspiration from a reference pic of some existing armor done for the movie. The mask is my own concept.
You will see some interesting and different things as well. The orcs are pretty mismatched, and don't have a specific uniform.

I'm not sure you should name this Orc Armour though. It looks more like light clothing that you would find on one of the lesser orcs. Or something they would wear underneath their armour. I can't imagine this would offer much protection.
Awesome armor is awesome !
Doesn't "armour" mean love in some language?
Anyways nice armor, but it's missing a stinking orc.
Amor.
Amor is love in brazilian portuguese
Yes, but there's amour too, that's french.
I think you mean "amour". That's french.
It looks awesome but aren't orcs supposed to be a little crooked and bent? And imperfect? Not straight and tall like a human? Just saying (I know my english is not that good)
Could be an uruk.

This is called classic or "standard" T pose. Most humanoid figures use this pose as rest position before animating.

Not really a fan of this orc armor unless of course it's an orc roaming Dol Guldor or Angmar. Otherwise I don't think it would really suit an orc of Mordor.
Orc might need to be a bit bigger?
I like the mask in special.
I am sure there will be diffrent types of armour pieces for orcs right?
