For starters: a new semi-regular (to be reviewed in practice as usual with all the things I do here) feature to our website and our YouTube channel: a playthrough which shows the updates to the Act One missions.

The Mental Omega campaign is probably the most challenging campaign for Red Alert 2 ever created (not that there have been so many, right?), but the true challenge only shows up in the Mental difficulty. While for the next release we are indeed toning down the difficulty on Easy & Normal setting, the Mental setting stays unchanged. Are you good enough to beat its best times?

Speaking of campaigns & videos, I have also recently created and uploaded this short ad for Mental Omega. Care to share? The word of Yuri's campaign existence shall spread, Proselyte.

Since our marketing reach is rather limited, I can only count on our fans to spread the word about our mod to other Command & Conquer players. The Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge fanbase is huge, but only a portion of it is aware that we have created a campaign for Yuri, which was so lacking in the original game. Share & like the video so that others can join Yuri in his conquest for world domination.

The first of buildable jets for Yuri's Epsilon is the Dybbuk-Attacker, the anti-armor aircraft for all subs.

Finally some news in the maps department! Two new ones: "(4) Yuri Is Not Easy" and "(6) Yunru's Snowglass".

To see and read more about other new additions to the mod and new skirmish maps dedicated to Mental Omega heroes, head to our website. More news about the recently announced SIde 4 coming soon.

It's their version of Halftrack, the profile will be posted later. Repair Drone is spawned with a support weapon.

I can say that it´s a heavier, but slower, version of the Halftrack.

A unit mostly created for balance proposes.

Does Russia have some problems with hostile air units earlygame?

█Black/Brunez█ Apr 28 2013 replied:

Nope, it was late game.

The problem is that both Wolfhound and Thors acted as T3 AA. And in Wolfhound vs Thor battles, the Thors had a great advantage, since they can fire on the move and their machineguns have area of effect damage. It was like one Thor was killed for every 1/3 of the hole Wolfhound group.

Trying to do that with Halftracks? They would die even faster than the Wolfhounds, since Halftracks have light armor. Thors love light armor.

And on EU vs EU, it´s possible to counter Thors using Archons, which have Medium armor (Thors are not effective aganist Medium and Heavy armor). So we have Russia a medium armored vehicle to help to deal with those pests. And yes, we good positive results after that.

Thanks for clarification.
BTW what advantage Russian Scud launcher have vs other T3 Artilleries?

█Black/Brunez█ Apr 29 2013 replied:

It has a really great range and damage, without counting that it´s the 3th heaviest artillery piece (only losing for the Centurion and Hailstorm). But it can´t fire on the move and have trouble in hitting moving targuets... but when it does... :)

Also, the Scud is now much harder to be destroyed in the air.

A quick suggestion.
I looked at the soviet crane and I remembered the GDI Rig/Battle base from C&C3. Basically it was an unarmed vehicle that could unpack into a building that provides firepower, detects stealth, and repairs nearby vehicles. So... why not put that into the game somehow? Epsilon/Soviets really need a good repair unit. Now I read that engineers can create a repair vehicle inside an epsilon stinger, (it's below the engineer's description) and if that's true, epsilon is taken care of. The soviets, however, can only create a repair unit every 4 minutes.
I suggest removing the repair drone, and adding the Rig/Battlebase I was talking about. It fits the slow-moving steamrolling nature of soviet vehicles, and makes their repairs unique from the other factions.
I hope I'm not bothering you with my comments/suggestions.

You'd be surprised at how good the Repair Drone is. It's the only repair unit that is amphibious and can be placed anywhere on the map. It's keeping them alive that's tricky.

Not at all! Your comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

Will be the epsilon vaults different to each subfaction?
The yuris castle will be present, the vault with the rotating barrels is not fitting i guess. Oh and epsilon ore driller will be in?
Thanks for answering.

Ore driller? If you mean the Drilling Platform then no, it's not in.

The vault SHP's are placeholders, so yes, eventually they'll look different.

Easily one of the best, most professional "YR+" mods around. MO is genuinely produced as a "YR expansion", continuing the game's theme and storyline with a whole brand new campaign for all three factions.

While bringing in a few new ideas and a lot of new units for the games houses (without being overcrowded), MO doesn't depart too much from the original games atmosphere - a great mod for anyone who wants 'a little bit more YR'.

Most 1-point reviews are baseless troll reviews. Perhaps their MCV got stolen.

So is this one.
