It's been a while since we've last updated and we felt it would be insulting to our watchers to just leave it as it is without saying a word. Over the last few months progress had slowed to a crawl and with it, motivation, to the point where it bordered on becoming a chore as opposed to an enjoyable experience. As such, we are officially declaring this mod on indefinite hiatus and apologize to fans of the Warhammer 40k universe as well as Men of War players who took interest in this attempt to convert an excellent strategy title into the brutal universe of WH40K.

cant get it to extract maps . I've installed all other versions of dgc for the other men of war games including original but can't get this one working. Do i have to remove the previous non burning horizon Dgc?

but if you start the old dgc with BH installed you have no options for BH

I made the MotE DCG to go in the same folder as the MotE demo, so it does not conflict with regular DCG.

HOWEVER: you can only have one of them activated inside Men of War at a time, so be sure to deactivate regular DCG when you play MotE and vice-versa.

Sorry if the disclaimer sounds strict - I'm just trying to discourage people posting Baneblade bugs to the DCG comment areas. ;)

Chompster and Luthorian, please feel free to reupload the MotE DCG version here and/or modify, expand, etc. it in any way you see fit.

I'll admit, making a DCG version for what is at best pre-alpha content is, in my opinion, strange. You may remove the download link on your page if you will, I've uploaded it and am awaiting for it to be authorized.

Thanks. I removed it from the DCG site now. Well, my hope is that by releasing it now, I will be directly helping by providing a mission framework, so you can concentrate on other aspects of the mod, and/or that it will bring some extra eyes to the project so you guys attract some other help.

Well, depends on exactly who will volunteer to help out in this mod and when. As of now, the mod is pretty much at a standstill. Titans are WIP but hopefully at some point in the future if anyone picks up this mod and dusts it off, they can become functional. As for xenos, Tyranids are mainly melee based and they are bug like creatures. Extremely difficult to put into the game with the original MoW engine. Orks are half and half so maybe eventually you would have seen some shoota's in the game, but the mod was/is mainly focused on Imperial Guard and Renegades. The Space Marine chapters were going to be added in right after.

Would it be possible for when you have the enemies complete few maps maybe, you could release that so people can play it within the editor and give feedback on any player bugs and what can be improved and what we all love about it :)

As said before, the MoD is basically at a complete standstill. The only reason this content was released was basically so we didn't leave you empty handed and so that the content could be given for public use in case anybody wanted to contribute to this mod as help is something that's a huge requirement.
