Do the searchlights turn arounds? I am unable to make them turn and look at the sky at the same time.

I used direct control to aim the search beams. However I just went into editor mode and rotated the search lights to face the sky in the end.

Yep from scratch, took me months, but I have gained experience in building modelling for MoW, so expect many new bunkers to arrive shortly!
