the system would cut off the tower from the outside, locking the terrorists and the AD Police staff
inside the building. With the people locked inside the tower, the AD Police staff could mobilize and take out the terrorist
force on its own turf.

The Uniforms

Members of the AD Police are not forced to wear a specific uniform for normal occasions such as in the squad rooms. However
they are required to wear proper uniforms at formal ceremonies. They are also required to wear protective clothing and helmets
had carry ordinance designed for boomer enforcement when out on duty. The protective clothing is a type of composite armour
made from a lightweight polymer alloy - rendering it "bullet proof" under normal conditions. The armour is also capable of
protecting the user from a nano-stampede for a short period of time. This is done by activating a thermo-electric system inside
the armour, however the activation of this system can also harm the user if it is running for extended periods of time. The
helmet is made of the same composite armour. It is equipped with an infinite focus monitor and live video feed, activated by
lowering the visor. Audio communication is achieve through a built-in microphone and headset. Input can be activated by voice
command or through the "motion captures" feature built into "smart gloves" and virtual keyboards. This feature is very useful
during covert operations however not all AD Police officers are skilled at "blind touch" communications. The helmet also
featured a light-amplifier that produces simulated night-vision.

The Ordinance

The A.D. Police use 9mm "JGSDF" standard issue handguns and sub-machineguns that can be equipped with laser targeting systems
and lamps. The "Sniper Squad" is trained in the use of "JGSDF" sniper rifles. Specialised ammunition is employed depending on
the situation
FMJ: Full Metal Jacket. Armour piercing bullets with no real destructive power.
EX: Explosive Bullet. Excellent destructive power, but no piercing effect.
EEX: Electric Explosion. An electromagnetic pulse bullet.
CD: Core Destruction. (Only available for sniper rifles) Used exclusively for destroying boomer cores.

Grenade launchers, shotguns, and electromagnetic rail cannons (capable of firing bullets at supersonic speed) are part of the

A.D. Police arsenal. Several types of hand grenades are used by the A.D. Police for immobilisation or to disable visual sensors

("Flash Bang"). The A.D. Police employ super-directional explosives for breaching walls. Reminiscent of a fishing pole with
small weights attached, this device will blast a customized hole depending on the way it is attached when detonated. They also
use explosive barricades to stop boomers, and "stun guns" to slow down nano-stampedes.

The Terminology

"Sequence B" Outbreak:
Indicates a boomer incident where a program-stampede (an out-of-control program deviating from a programmer's original intent)
has developed. This type of outbreak must be dealt with before it evolves into a nano-stampede. A.D. Police is dispatched to
the site of such disturbances in high-speed army personnel transports.

"Sequence N" Outbreak:
Indicates a boomer incident where a nano-stampede (fusion with mecha) has developed. In these situations, the A.D. Police
augment their normal gear with thermal protectors and utilize special duty heavy armoured cars.

"Sequence IR" Outbreak:
Indicates a boomer incident involving an illegal modification (Illegal Remodelling). Various courses of action can be taken
depending on the situation, so an investigative squad is sent in first to determine what equipment to use.

Sequence Disposal Complete:
Effective once a boomer core has been destroyed. At this point, the A.D. Police are obligated to contact Genom Corporation and
file accidental damage / loss reports.
The AD Police use a variety of heavy artillery and vehicles to control boomer crimes. Some noticeable ones are the patrolling
AD Police cars, the personal helicopters called Fire-bee's and the heavily armoured K-Suits.

Squad Car
These police cars have all the usual features common to a normal police car. However, the do have a sleek design and are easily
recognised as AD Police cars. These cars seat two officers and are generally used to patrol and monitor areas of Tokyo and to
report back to the command center. The AD Police Squad Cars are apparently made by Nissan's special vehicles range, Nismo.

(Fire-bee) Attack Helicopter
These are tiny one man helicopters that are almost like airborne suits that allow the pilot to patrol the skies of Tokyo with
great ease. The Fire-bees are extremely manoeuvrable and are equipped with a single search light and cannon. Because the
Fire-bees are so light, they are extremely fragile and can easily be taken out by rogue boomers.

Well, we're back..... After a 3 Month "In house" have to take care of reality phase. Spider2cool and Knightmare both have started up on getting thing started project wise again. Miguel has started working on Nene as youall can see as the recent post. Simon has started hammering on the Alpha Map to get it ready for production for the demo.

Padawan Drake has been very busy the entire time btw work & school with the downtown sector of Shinjuku. He's been very cautious as not to fudge the transit system he's building and finishing for the vehicles for the city. (Yes most of the vehicles should be drivable in game wise).

Thanatos has been getting the player models animated and fixing backplates and such on the models where need be. So fare things are going well if not a lil behind what was expected but then again... real life steps in and you have to take that by the hand and guide it back to where you need it to be.

MrTwister is working on the last vehicle needed for the ADP "The Wasp" a 1 Person VTOL with a triumverant of fire power. Railgun at the nose and pulse canons on the undercarriage of each rotating VTOL fan. with 360 rotational arcing caps. All in all everyone on this team is each doing thier best and that's all I can ask of them.

Understood, we're actualy discussing Knight Saber Models with Spider2cool. He's recieved IronBearXL's Sylia SDK Pack. But we're staying with the the AD Police story line for the fact that each mod/tc done with bgc in mind has been about the knight sabers. This time there will be one aimed with the forces behind the story. With a lil more indepth look at a few charters and some pretty nice gameplay. As you can see now we're working on the Vehicle Portion of the game. We're in phase 3 & 4 at the same time. There are a few mapping issues we're dealing with but those are being dealt with as we speak too. But back to your statement. There will be KnightSaber models people can play with, they just won't be part of the plot set. They'll be used for mainly DM CTF and maybe 1 to 2 other game modes. We're in debate on that still.

GREAT NEWS Everyone, Vailias has finally come full circle with the ADP Cycle and it’s ready for infinity to play with on cleaning up code and such and have to find a way to get the models to fit better on the bike itself. Oo; But so far IT rocks!
Posting up news at moddb.com now for the game profile.

Next Mapping:
Grim seems a bit down atm and maybe a lil unsure of himself. I honestly can't see any reason why he should though. He's got some great skills; they just need a bit of polish to them is all. Being off the loop in mapping can do that. It happens to everyone, but once placed on the right track again all good comes back around.
I'm quite pleased at what grim has done with us so far. He's a Good Friend too, Listens well provides feedback when he thinks someone needs. Takes advice when given rather than flying off a handle. The work on the maps so far is coming along nicely. With the help of Craig re rendering the buildings and such with max 9 and some textures I handed him. He and Grim should be able to set up some very Tre Chic maps for the game. My hat is tipped off to Grim and nods go to Craig for the time of doing the re-renders and fixing some the issues that were found once things became stable.

Some great Re-renders of the Map Buildings are coming along great. Max 9 is being used by our outside Resource Mr. Bolton a CO Worker of mine who has exceptional skills atusing Max and Finding this issues. Hopefully He;ll be able to sort outsome the problems we've been having and Mapping will resume shortly and full steam ahead as well.
