Medieval Battles is a tactic-orientated mod full of action with some elements of role-playing. The age the scenario takes place in is all over from dark age to the ends of the middle ages. There will be character-levels and "upgrades" that are connected with them. There will be no classes but your rank will determine how many different weapons you own. We will present some never-seen game-modes to you, which will be "Conquer" and "Holy Grail".
Holy Grail will play as follows: You pick the weapons you want to have from a menu and spawn at your teams spawn area. Then you and your team will search the Holy Grail all over the map - and prevent the enemy from finding it. The grail will often spawn at hidden places, in caves and at places like that - so you might defend a whole den while only one of you is in there and has all the time to find the grail. When he has it in his hands he will not be able to fight anymore: You will have to guide him to a chapel....

I added three screenshots.
I am proud to announce that the first weapon is ingame and nearly finished. Also the viewmodel of the grail is finished.

I'm addicted to medieval themed games and mods! Now don't let this effort die! :)
We just did not update our profile at ModDB, we are working on Medieval Battles. You can look at our website for more frequent updates. I hope to remember ModDB the next time i have news for you.
I'm really looking forward to this mod. Although i think the period in which the game takes place should be a set one, to bring in more realism to the game and less confusion, or perhaps different player models that you can choose for each time you play on a different map.
I would absolutely LOVE to play as a Knights Templar or a Crusader. Yeah, that is my favorite time in history, I'm pretty much obsessed with it. :D
good luck!
