Will you be a living legend or a forgotten casualty? MechWarrior:Living Legends (MWLL) is a total conversion modification for Crysis, MWLL is at its very core a mix between First Person Shooter and Simulation. This will be achieved through the use of a mixed arms massively multiplayer gaming experience where the player takes part in a battle using a variety of vehicles and weapons MWLL is using the concepts pioneered by the “Battlefield” franchise and more recently Crysis, of a sandbox feel where you get to play what you want and how you want it. MWLL depicts the epic struggles between the two factions of Battletech “The Clans” and “The Inner Sphere” In the project we will be bringing some of the legends of MechWarrior back to life.

I am providing a Review rating of 1.

Why? Well that's simple. It doesn't work when it should and if it is UNSTABLE as it is, it should be released as an ALPHA release.

This is as of June 2012. Pathetic that it received the attention it has.

NO MOD WITH ALPHA ISSUES SHOULD EVEN BE RELEASED! IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!

I have seen more CTD issues with this and more confliction between softwares, such as Desura AND their Auto Update feature than anything.

What do I mean? Let me explain. Desura chooses to update the game from their database and the Auto Update feature chooses to update from the MWLL Master Database. The problems this poses are immense. This software constantly isn't being maintained by the developers and the holes are too big to not acknowledge.

So go ahead. Download this buggy crap if you want. Oh, but don't forget, the servers don't always provide the option to download the maps. Am I saying the servers are at fault? No. The Developers of MWLL are not providing all the maps to this game. Sure, there are maps that come with the game (yeah thats right, it's a game NOT a Mod), but the maps are huge and the "MOD" cannot buffer the packet size of the map. Well how big is a map? A proper map can range anywhere from 70mb to 500mb. But do the developers tell you this? No they sure as **** don't! The maps will not always Auto-Download from each connection if they are too big. You actually have to find the individual maps on their website to satisfy all your problems.

IN FACT, the developers have a forum on the MWLL website and encourage all to sign up and post and all that crap. Well no thank you. If you want people to do that then fine. But to the rest of the world who are not going to download every little file that has ever existed or created who people claim are "micro updates", well **** you. No thanks. Keep your **** until it is a proper BETA RELEASE with proper BETA INSTALL. There are too many problems with this crap.

I started playing the mod Mechwarrior: Living Legends when it was about 9 months old, I never played with battle mechs before and the learning curve was very high I must have died a million times over before I could live through a fire fight. The Reactor breachs was so awesome I couldn't get enough of it...

I can still remember the feeling I had when I climbed into an Assault Mech for the first time, "Run...I Am Near" Dying didn't matter anymore. hahaha
