Great effort. Seems not focused on a few important things. Overall it does not feel and look semi-professional. Campaigns are all old or developped by individuals outside the team multiple years ago
Keep going!

So where is the download button? any other mod I come across there it is plain as day but for MCO it is oddly AWOL. any help would be appreciated
I want to download the mod, I go to downloads, click on the mod, then click on download, but this error apears:
''The file you have selected (MCOsetup240.exe) is not available via any mirrors. Please check back shortly as our servers update every 5 minutes.''
And it apears to any mirror download of moddb.
what can I make ? I really want to download the mod !
I noticed that this mod contains assets and featurs modelled after Mechcommander 1. Does that mean you plan on remaking the MC Gold campaigns?
Yes, MC1 and Expansion campaigns.
Sweet. You guys are both awesome.
Too bad I already got a decent way through Desperate Measures :/
Well, I hope the old music also makes it in. And I also like Rooster's lines from MC Gold more than the ones from MC2.
Oh, I almost forgot.
You should add a setting in the "Gameplay" tab of the options menu that changes LOS and rendering and the tacmap and stuff to the systme used in the first Mechcommander.
I tried to do this myself by editing gamesys.fit, but it didn't seem to do anything when I tested it.
I have one major issue with MC2.... the enemy units aren't challenging enough. Is there a way to ask you nicely enough, to make me a new set of campaign mission files, that... er, say.... replace all vehicles and infantry with light mechs, and scale up all the mech classes to stuff that makes my day suck a lot more?
I tried doing it myself, but it's not a challenge when I know what to expect. Replaced every mech in the first mission with assaults, and switched some of the smaller enemies to lights and mediums, ended up being forced to edit Mission #1's starting lineup with a Madcat, a Loki, and a Thor, and it was still too easy for my liking, because I was prepared for the Atlases and Bushwackers.

Thanks.
Fun Fact: My mom got this game for my birthday when I was 9. I'm 14 now, and my next birthday is on the 22nd. Maybe I can make this my own birthday present.
Who buys MC2, anymore? The game and sourcecode is available for free download, direct from Microsoft. No disc needed... all .FIT files unlocked and ready for modding... sheer brilliance.
