Real Cars is a totalconversion mod for Grand Theft Auto IV that replases all cars and other vehicles in game to real ones.

How to install
----------------
Just simply run the setup and pick out where your Gta 4 folder is
and wait for the setup to be finished.

It's strongly recommended that you save your game a lot, because the game could be instable whit the mod and that it could crash some times...Recommendations 2 (known bugs)

Install the mod after a clean install of GTA 4 and it's updates.

No! It does not!!! Mod slows down landscape loading by some 100 times..., buildings dissapearing as well as road.., cars are bugged. The instalator is made to just replace ur original GTA IV files without makeing any backups. There is no unninstalator! It ereases ur SAVES (need backup manualy (if it'll work with them - no idea)). Seriously - do not aply THIS - it'll just destroy ur game. I now need to install it again from network drive; since i'd no backup to my saves need to start game from begining.
Idea is just great.., but executed amazeingly >>>> well.., there is no word. Im running on laptop (why no WARNING if on laptop videocards not working); Intel dual c. 2.0Ghz > Geforce 9600M(512+750) > 4GB DDR3(ram) > and Windows 7 64bit >
This mod currently made gta4 unplayable at ALL!
PLZZZZZZ - how to uninstall this without installing whole game again (eng version rel. UK) - cause my DVD layer is broken and I need to do it from network one - wich takes almost all day long to be done...

i noticed that during the turn is extremely easy to overturn the car and make it land upside down. can you fix it somehow? (tested in little jacob's car and rebela)
Thank you for the feedback about the bug. This is a Early release of the beta so it will contain some bugs. But it is good if you all pm me about all bugs you can find so i can take care of them for the final release.
Hi, I seem to have a problem starting the game up, I did a fresh install of gta4 and then got the 1.0.7.0 update, straight after that I put in this mod which told me that some of the files were not overwritable, I installed it anyway and not the game wont start up it just says the program has stopped responding.
is there a way to get this to work, like not overwrite the files it tells me are overwritten protected?
well i had this (previous version) working with gtaiv and tbogt (dlc) but now gta iv works fine, but i cannot launch tbogt at all. anyone know a fix? before when i played tbogt all vehicles were modded except the ones exclusive to tbogt. help.
it seems you turned off windows live which disables the dlc, how do i turn windows live back on? i dont see xliveless in there so did you modify the original file? is your eflc mod going to consider those that have the dlc instead of disk version (considering the install very differently.
fixed, removed a few files, tbogt works fine. i can go online but choose not to as this mod tends to crash other players

i went back to the previous version, this new release has far too many bugs
This version is uber buggy and unplayable, I uninstalled it after a day of playing. There are so many cars that have terrible physics. Most of the cars roll over if you turn too fast. You did have a great mod at one time, but I wouldn't have released this version at all. You should stick with cars that you know work well instead if replacing them all the time.
how do you uninstall it..
Please if there is a way to do it without having to install the all game again please tell me.

I have a problem ..
Can not log in into mi windows live acount any more after this pack install.
ok windows live is back after I have removed this 2 files over the games main directory:
xlive.dll and xlive_d.dll
But now the game keeps crashing after some minutes playing...
Ok found another thing, when driving if you use the horn the Police will start persuing you and shooting.
Wierd.

Have to install the all game again to take this Mod off..
Cars are a beauty but this list of bugs are just to much for me:
1- Taxis like hell, in fact the city has more taxis then anything else.
2- There are no variaty of cars in the city traffic, so you see a all
flotilla of cars like the one you are driving plus the taxis every
were.
3- if you use the car horn you will be persuited and shot by the Police.
Good things:
1- Damn awesome work with the cars , a real beauty .

Hey this mod is good but it ruins your live info. I had to reinstall the game to try and get LIVE to work again, but it won't. Can someone help?
you couldve simply removed xlive.dll , no need to reinstall

Wow.How come i didn't stumble upon this mod before.I've been replacing cars manually for ages now.It also seems that we have the same taste in cars since i have most of the models you have in your pack,except the cop cars and some other few,
i downloaded the file but i cant find the cars
in my ps3
