Mayday is a mod, set into the far future, where war has taken its toll on earth again. Anger, and hate of other nations has come upon each country's government, and they have started to attack each other. It is now each country to its own. Some alliances have stuck together, but few have remained. Traitoring is repant in the world, and hardly anyone can be trusted. Then, one day, an alien race came upon earth and attacked. The world was in turmoil, and most people where forced to join the army tp survive. This is where Mayday starts off. Since plans have changed since Mayday first started, the story has yet been developed to a level that we will stick with. But we do have a short features list that you may be interested in:
Features
- A totally new set of Weapons, fight with bullet loaded earth firearms, or grab a laser shooting weapon from a dead alien.
- AI Team members follow you around, providing cover, and helping you in sticky situations.
- Call in airstrikes from artillery, air or sea.
- Drive different vehicles around earth, and use their weapons to wreck havok on aliens!

Well after getting the site deleted from Strategy-X due to no updates, even though we had excuses, they weren't taken. I have finally got around to redoing the site, and it is now available for viewing at Mayday.shortcutman.net. Hopefully, this won't be our permant address, and we will be able to move to a new host once we get a bit of content out. If you would like to know what Mayday is about, here is a bit about it:

Well, most mods sixe goes right up because they include new textures. Mayday currently doesn't use any other textures, we're fine with the UT ones. ;)
Although, skins will be needed for the weapons and stuff. You could always order a CD from FilePlanet. I did.
I hope that any downloads of this mod won't be too huge to require a cable modem or something of the like...
