Max Payne @ University is a Total Conversion modification for the Max Payne game (volume one).
The mod is set on scenery transported from the real life premises and surroundings of the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department a.k.a CEID in Patras, Greece.
The mod's features include the Kung Fu Deluxe Engine, the Enemy Kung Fu engine, some new weapons and has a new standalone story to tell.
The story will unfold through cutscenes, graphic novels and in-game actions of the player.
The mod also at one point will give you a choice to make that will affect the final outcome of the story.
We put a lot work into this mod, it took us almost three years to make and we all hope that you will enjoy it as much as we did making it!

Wonderful!I can re-install Max Payne for this mod.
This mod is for Max Payne. The original game, and NOT for the sequel Max Payne 2.
Which is why it is listed under the Max Payne category.
this is for max payne 1??or 2??
i beat about 4 times now, great ending in the game
To text_fish: the music that plays though the latest extended trailer that we created for the MOTY 2006 awards is an edited version of Fantômas - "Rosemary's Baby" (which in turn is a remixed version of the original Rosemary's Baby main theme)
To Halloween4: Thank you for your votes and congratulation on your success as well There are two mod for the original Max Payne now in the top100 list and this is great news! It could be WAR :) but all the chrismas spirit -and candies- have made me kind of lethargic and idle so I would lack the needed alertness. Yeah... let's not battle :)
To all: We are very excited that our newly released mod has made it to the top100 list! Thank you all for your support and we hope you'll be also voting for our mod in this final round! Also, have a great holiday!
Congratulations on getting through to the Top 100 shortlist for the first round voting & into the second round of voting for the The 2006 Mod Of the Year Awards, its' well deserved as your mod is magic.
I was lucky enough to have my MAX PAYNE 1 mod DAWN OF THE DEAD chosen for the shortlist also, so I guess this is war ( just joking  ).
Anyway, i'll be voting for you mod in the second round of voting also, & the very best of lluck to you......;)
No, this mod is only for Max Payne, the original (first) title.
It would be nice if Max Payne 2 had integral backwards compatibility for Max Payne 1 mods, but this is not the case.
However, the option to move our designs to the Max Payne 2 engine was briefly considered and dismissed, because we had already far advanced in the mod development and moving to Max Payne 2 demanded redesigning almost everything from scratch. Plus at that time Max Payne 2 had no Kung fu mods for us to use as a base and the ragdoll physics though very funny seemed quite unrealistic.
i can play this mod on max payne 2?
