Apr 03, 2008 Patch 2 commentsThis is the Master Sword Continued 1.11 beta patch, as of April 3rd 2008. Updates include a revamped sfor, map compatibility for some other maps coming...
Master Sword: Continued 1.11 is an ongoing expansion of the current Master Sword world.
Roughly each month, a new patch is released. The first place this patch will be is www.thothie.com/ms but the file is normally uploaded to several other sites, such as ModDB. These patches contain new items, spells, monsters, scripted events, and FuzNet map compatibility additions, amongst other various things.
In online mode, many servers connect to a central server named FuzNet. To gain access to FuzNet, simply connect to a server which has the password - or contact Blasto to get the password for your server to connect to FuzNet. You will need the latest patch installed to have access to FuzNet, the official MS:C central server.

This months changelog is avaliable on the forums, whereas the compiled changelog is linked to on the Master Sword Wiki.
In another bit of minor news, we now have a presentable world map to show, and some models from the upcoming mining system!

hi squirrel
once 1.1 is finished uploading ill be joining you (that is, if you play your own mod >_>) in your fight against the evil fuzzy tube-mouth things that spit rocks (or whatever) at innocent travelers. =)
only fuzzy people can kill the fuzzy monsters =D
you heard me people, so for those of you who just stare at this mod profile instead of reading the forums...foutpost is out, and its being played all the time, so come join the fun!
i'll be uploading the next patch as soon as thothie releases it...should be soon(ish)
I'll wait til next patch, i still have some hope left :( if not, im glad on my old computer (just recently got a new computer) still has my old character file.
that sounds like a reliable channel overflow, if you're running your own listenserver...if you try to use your character on another server it'll do almost the same thing but it'll actually show the error...
i'm assuming you're using FuzNet, so...if you want your character fixed you should go on the forums and request a character restore from the last date it worked - backups are taken twice daily.
if you aren't using fuznet...you'll have to start over :(
To avoid this bug in the future, try not to have too many items at once....even though i have more than that...wierd...
I dont know... i can load everything but as soon as i click my character, it exits to the main master-sword screen (where you can make a server, join, options). When that happens no message appears so im really confused. The things i have are sir... uhh Dark armor, dark helmet, greater iceblade, great axe, training shield, sharp hugger dagger, spiderblade, calrian mace, ring of light, and edana's crest. Also a about 10 potions and 2 crystals.
is it a reliable channel overflow bug?
because if it is - you could register on the forums and request a character rollback to a date when it worked.
hm, well i already tried all of that, even reinstalling. i guess i'll wait for next patch, or ... i havent tried to downgrade my version yet. Dont know, but i'll figure out how to fix it. thanks anyways
probably not, if it says "Reliable channel overflow" when you select your character - try loading the character on the map "char_recover" (obtained from thothie.com/ms)
its a problem with having too many items, the pack limits help - but stocking way up on potions can still cause it.
