Master Sword, a first-person MPORPG mod for Half-Life, was first created in 1998 by Dogg and Evaan. For over a decade now, dozens of developers have come and gone, contributing to and expanding the project. When Steam came about, the game looked doomed. But then, in 2005, Kuroneko combined forces with several members of the original team, as well as many new ones, and managed to update it for use with Gabe Newell's new beast, giving the game a full makeover in the process. Since 2005, we've gone from 11 maps, to over 50, from two spells to over twenty, from a dozen weapons to nearly a hundred, and added litteraly thousands of monsters, NPCs, quests, and features.
Description
FEB2012d is the current full installer. MSC returns, just after Valentine's Day, to show that it still loves you, then comes back a few days later with flowers to apologize for getting over excited on that awkward evening.

Probably best described as Morrowind style MRPG under the Half-Life1 engine - although the core game predates Morrowind, that's probably still its biggest inspiration. It's most unique factor is that it's more or less a community built mod - it's had hundreds of hands in it. It's original creators are long gone, but the world has expanded, literally, exponentially in their absence, and there's always new fans, coming around and adding new stuff, that just refuse to let the thing die.

i have a problem, when i start the game, a message appear and say that can't find the SDL.dll... please help me, i want play the mod :)
in the folder of Master Sword i found a "hl.exe"... what does this file in the folder? is normal?

oops. because i replace accidentally the hl.exe of Half-Life with it. some future error by my stupid mistake?, ah!, other thing... when i was installing the game, I was watching and i take the count that 50 files are installed to 92-97% and 12 files are installed to 84-88%... is normal this?, a lot of this files are .wav, .spr, .mp3 and .wad, and thanks for respond me :)

You have to restart your Steam got be able to work, then you will find the game in your game list in Steam. Do not start it with the hl.exe that doesnt work.
