This wasnt done for us, but the author has given his go ahead for it to be used as the mod theme. Support his soundcloud and listen to more.
Don't ask me why, but for moments it feels like a modern version of the soundtrack of a game from the '90... And I love it.
It's good, but personally I think it sounds a little too techno or 8-bit to be Mass Effect related.
Quite nice, but could maybe use less bass, and sharper melodies.
I disagree, I feel it should have more bass and less sharp melodies. See, the thing is, people have their own opinions, some will think it's perfect the way it is, some will side with my opinion, some with yours, and others will have their own unique opinion. None of us can have it exactly how we want it, unless you download the mod then modify the mod yourself.

They could still issue the team a cease and desist order, always minimize the chance of getting your mod shut down, this is the approach we at SotP are using, and it seems to work quite well.
Waffle, Maybe read the ME3 EULA before trying to justify Distribution of EA's content.
A bit of it explaining what you can do with ME3s Content:
"This License governs your use of this software product and all related documentation, and updates and upgrades that replace or supplement the software in any respect and which are not distributed with a separate license (collectively, the "Software")." That means EVERYTHING, The Music, Models, Textures...ect
"You are expressly prohibited from sub-licensing, renting, leasing or otherwise distributing the Software or rights to use the Software." Meaning you can not in any way redistribute ME3 Content(See Above Quote), Unless(See the end): "Your right to use the Software is limited to the license grant above, and you may not otherwise copy, display, seek to disable, distribute, perform, publish, modify, create works from, or use the Software or any component of it, except as expressly authorized by EA."

except that also includes dragon age, i'm quite sure the policy is quite malleable. all those words just means you can't rent it out nor make a cheap knock off from it.
Because if you take the policy word for word, any works of ANYTHING related to mass effect would get downed. That's not happening, and it ain't gonna happen. Because this is fan art, it promotes their game more than anything. Unless they're stupid, they're not gonna care.
The difference here is they are not using EA's content directly. Instead it is a reference that they will base their own content off of, but not simply use EA's.

Um no that's not how it works. Sometimes even having the same story will end in a lawsuit. Just citing them as the original creators and not making bank will not save you from copyright.
well its a good thing mass effect is not made by sega, they are having people kicked of youtube left, right and center for just talking abouit their old games :S
I like it as music for the mod but not the theme, but then again. I'd probably prefer using either Suicide Mission or Leaving Earth which I know is probably not possible.
I'm not the biggest fan of the original sins soundtrack, so I usually have something like Pandora or Grooveshark open in the background and use a custom playlist. Which if i'm playing grooveshark always has the mass effect soundtrack. But some of the mods i've seen have amazing soundtracks so I use those. But my point is you don't have to use the in game soundtrack if you don't want too.

This is really cool, wish there weren't any problems with just using Mass Effect music, as they have one of the best sound tracks ever. Also, liked the sort of Reaper horn noise at the beginning there.

For some reason I really like this,not that that's a bad thing. There is something about it... It's up beat and yet at some moments are not as ,but the effect is still there... I'm rambling. Whoever made this did a Really good Job
I think the song is good. It would suit for any situation in which Shepard and team might try to reach a certain point under time pressure..
