So with the rapid progress we have been making the last several weeks, I wanted to do an update to show you and demonstrate exactly whats to be expected with this glorious upcoming release. I want to start by introducing ARC, I would elaborate further but she is perfectly capable of doing that herself.

ARC will be almost constantly communicating with you in-game giving you updates, and telling you of galactic events.

On to the asset updates. Cerberus is almost done in terms of ships. Since the last release we have added 3 more Capital ships to each faction, as well as replace all the stock ships left in Cerberus. Each ship in game has been given its own respective voice overs courtesy of MEDiscovery who has been working overtime to help get Cerberus done! I spent two weeks updating all the skins on the Cerberus ships to better emulate the ones seen in Mass Effect. Included below are some simple before/afters for two of the ships that have undergone the update process.


With new bloom shaders that we have been provided the ships now have that pop that has been missing for so long.

Included below is a small playthrough/Interview I did with Gul_Dukat of SA3 that includes A LOT of the changes that will be included the following update.

it could also be because your PC cant handle the new stuff like shaders and such, i would recomnend bringing everything down to medium settings and removing bloom.

Well, I usualy do that and my laptop can handle everything on the sp maps.

Some laptops are having issues with rebellion with nvidia graphics cards with the integrated graphics also on the laptop. Really the best option is to open a ticket with sins support to get help. Multiplayer works fine for the record # of people that are playing right now. I've probably put in 10 games in MP so far in the last few days with zero issues technically.

oh that i can help with, since sometimes the computer tries to switch the graphics between the integrated and nvidia to keep power balance, what you want to do is get into the setup at the start logo and change the graphics mode from switchable to discreet.

then it must not be able to handle both the game and the internet connection not to mention the other processes of real time movment of other ships. what is your processor speed

Here is my sytem specs:
Processor: AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.30 GHz
Ram: 4.00 GB (3.60 GB usable)
64-Bit operating system.
On big maps, like the one I was on, the graphics are turned down to medium or low.

I guess your lucky you can run single player with a 1.3GHZ CPU and integrated graphics.

I can run Eve, WoW, STO, and Tribes Acsends fine, so I should be running Sins fine.

So you can run 4 MMO's and think that is equivalent to what Sins does :-/

Your system is well under the minimum specifications for Rebellion. Your actually under minimum specifications for everthing but WOW, next closest is STO. Again, you are lucky if the other MMO's run adequately and that Rebellion can even run in SP.

I for one wouldn't want you lagging out an online game with that comp.

well all we know is Sins is not the problem, it is definately on your end. and all those other games can be run on the lowest settings without problems, sins has a 2 gig limit still....that is the only thing they need to fix.

my thought exactly, I have a dual core from 2010/2011 on my Alienware M11x and this thing can do some good but only overclocked to 2.8 GHz

no idea what your talking about? there havent been any mass complaints about minidumps, if your ram is only 2 gigs then its your system, or if you guys are using 4 ai on dificulties above hard then it is because the AI need more processing power per dificulty, that seems to be the only real flaw in rebellion so far.
