So with the rapid progress we have been making the last several weeks, I wanted to do an update to show you and demonstrate exactly whats to be expected with this glorious upcoming release. I want to start by introducing ARC, I would elaborate further but she is perfectly capable of doing that herself.

ARC will be almost constantly communicating with you in-game giving you updates, and telling you of galactic events.

On to the asset updates. Cerberus is almost done in terms of ships. Since the last release we have added 3 more Capital ships to each faction, as well as replace all the stock ships left in Cerberus. Each ship in game has been given its own respective voice overs courtesy of MEDiscovery who has been working overtime to help get Cerberus done! I spent two weeks updating all the skins on the Cerberus ships to better emulate the ones seen in Mass Effect. Included below are some simple before/afters for two of the ships that have undergone the update process.

With new bloom shaders that we have been provided the ships now have that pop that has been missing for so long.

Included below is a small playthrough/Interview I did with Gul_Dukat of SA3 that includes A LOT of the changes that will be included the following update.

Honestly, it's not very creative to rip models from the game to make a mod. I'd probably quit the mod if we did that.

Still no luck Zombie? I have the plan down pat but I need the right Particle forge, the dust effect is easy to make, however I dont rightly know how to attach it to a ship effect, or action yet.

There is an updated particle forge. They have not released it yet to the community. It may come as part of one of the future steam updates. They are still considering when to release it and what the best way is to distribute it for them.

I've been following this mod since Lord Set first started it and i still remember when he first created those kickass alliance ships (now cerberus ships) and i realized that this mass effect mod was actually gonna happen and with almost an entire year since since first checking you out i decided to make an accound just so i can tell all you guys on the mod team and others that have been helping out thank you and that you guys are a bunch of freakin monsters at this and i cant wait to finally get to play this, and that i KNOW this mod is going to be amazing and congradulations on all the hard work and all you have accomplished.

well Rebellion already adds Dwarf planets though they are classfied as moons, and I know they are going to have mass relays as wormholes, and they are adding the Citadel unique spawn 1 per map.

I am quite sure, this has been written before, but I can't find it atm. Therefore I have to ask, will the phase travel between stars be disabled, so that you have do use the mass relays for travel between systems?

Really I think that would depend on when Wormhole Research comes about. If it is available early on in the tech tree [Which IMO it should be], then it would be quite possible to have the stars in a custom map be massive distances away from each other, with wormholes linking them together. This will mean that travelling between stars conventionally is possible - for travelling within clusters and such - however travelling between clusters will take a long time without a Relay.
One concern bought up is that the AI would have problems with this, but if the Wormhole research comes quick enough it shouldn't be a problem. I believe the AI always tries to take the shortest path to get somewhere, and if a Relay with an instant jump is available it should favour that. That's the theory anyway. I'll probably test to see how that holds up in practice sometime.

I already did that with the current map, though it is as of right now ment to work only with current rebellion, i can easily convert it to DoTR when it comes out, using the Stars mod template.

Probably not so we can use stock maps. You can make your own ME map though without phase lanes to the star if you want. And then tie system access via worm holes only.
