The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

Save that in ME3 she was running away from that red/blue/green shockwave(depending on which end you chose, unless you have Extended Edition).

I meant that the Normandy ran away from ONE of those shockwaves, not ALL of them. And in Extended Edition you also had an option of not activating the Crucible.

they probably could i meen star trek armada 3 used voices from the shows. and from what i understand it isn't that hard to extract the audio files from the game if you have the PC version. how ever there might be legal reasons not to.
I seem to remember an earlier discussion about ME music, specifically "The Fleets Arrive", saying that the dev team couldnt use the music. I think Bioware/EA seem to dislike that sort of thing unfortunately
When it comes to music, the composer needs to give permission, though most of the time the composer works for the company.
technically, armada 3 project could be served with a c&d since they used copy righted material
