fighter bays. Havent skinned the inside of the fighter bays yet so they are fairly dark.

Ah, I was thinking the hanger was just the in the front of the middle structure. I'm guessing they are but also on the sides. Many many hanger bays = awesome!

There's one thing I dislike about your alliance ships. They all look the same. The last 3 big ships are pretty much the same thing at a different scale and skin. It looks like it's the same thing that gets bigger and bigger with a few extra details.

Have you played the games? The alliance ships pretty much all look the same. Its the same in the real life military, the ships pretty much all look the same despite varying classes.
The variety will come with ships from other species (e.g. Turians, Asari, Quarians, Salarians, etc.)

Cause I was looking over the old screenshots of the carrier and the pylons were longer plus the hanger-bays on the side were sort of indented into the model rather than just textured.

The windows definitely look better. Still would like to see some more fluid as they go down the trench at the front. Maybe adding more on top of the current ones so they flow into the ship's hull like on the wings?

I'm not sure this is a good ship design to use for fighters. I always imagined the carriers to have large assed fighter bays (similar in design to the Normandy II cargo area), that allow the fighters to be 'dropped' into space. Not to mention the fact it would also coincide with the design of the other Systems Alliance vessels (their cargo bays that is).
