The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

These are expensive and large thanix turrets. They can take out most ships in a single shot. They have a decent cooldown though between fires.
Lord_Set sorry of course, but you do not seem silly to create defenses to the reapers? Just reapers so powerful that it is inexpedient to spend resources on defense. For geth - yes, even for collectors, but not for the reapers, because they only use offensive tactics.
you need to build them first and building a reaper is a monumental task requiring thousands of people to be melted down and incorporated into the reaper. this will take time. think of all the problems with building a single 2km long reaper. they are very valuble and time consuming machines. the ending of me3 (before the crucible fires) should show you the need for defences

But there is no problem to create the reaper destroyer (or geth dreadnought), which exceeds the of firepower dreadnought of asari (I think asari dreadnought most powerful of all the ships of the council).
reaper destroyer doesn't exceed the firepower of the destiny ascension, not too sure about the geth dreadnought though.
these are orbital versions of in game reaper defenses... it was used in the last part on earth when you have to take them out... so this is pretty much canon.

i hate that AA gun
it shakes the whole screen and makes me unable to react or aim
btw, that AA gun can shoot all the way to the orbital or just shooting down shuttles
(while the dino...i mean krogan...need a base for anti-orbital)
but the krogan anti-orbital cannon is an couple of centuries old and council technology, and the reaper A-O cannons are... yeah... reaper tech with considerable more energy for firing
Geth Dreadnought was confirmed to be a Reaper Titan a short while ago.
Destroyers are peasy-weasy.
Looks nice, but why not have it be an actual destroyer that's just hovering about in space, would be creepy :)
Definitely intimidating, don't want to get in range with that bad-boy.
