it will work, hope the refinery ships and station are Krogan as well.
Trade and refinery ships should be volus (trade at least, maybe elcor ships for refineries)
I don't see why the krogans would run a mining operation when they're too busy trying to breed, kill each other, and kill others.
Not all of them, you see several krogran on the citadel. They survive in harsh environments and even thrive in them.
Who needs a trolley or truck when you have a krogan to carry it to your ship.
Give that krogan a trolly or a truck and he will carry the whole damn asteroid!

This works fantastically for the astroid mine but if it is supposed to be the Council refinery then those legs need to be either reshaped or removed.
