Ive been wondering. What role exactly do the ships to the right serve? Obviously they look like dreadnaughts but i havent read anything about them. I gather they're from the comics/novels?
These are designs that I originally intended to use with the alliance but due to Mass Effect 3 I had to redesign my ships. I don't want to lose my work so it only makes sense to use it towards another means.
I think it's a good place for them. Awesome work.
In Mass Effect 3, Cerberus has there too their own unique ship. I personally call it "heavy cruiser", which looks like a normal cruiser, only it has four "wings", composed like "Elbrus" in one comic, Images4.wikia.nocookie.net And the engines are longer, far away from the hull than Alliance's cruiser. I can try to give you an in-game look on it. It looked like a standard warship for Cerberus.
So were going to have alliance, reapers and then cerberus. Didnt get ME3 but when I saw in the trailer that cerberus are bad guys I thought that was stupid since I wanted an option to team up with them to fight the reapers or something like that.
Stupid? A group of maniacs which want to **** all the other species only to have, at any cost, the humanity as the race... oh wait... theirselves as the dominant group of the galaxy?

I was so ****** off at Bioware because of that.... I did EVERYTHING to help Cerberus in ME2.... then they **** us over with this

Cerberus is a group of extremists willing to do whatever it takes to put humanity on top. The theme of ME3 is uniting the galaxy, how are they not good villains for that?
Shepard's goals have and always were destroying the reapers and the illusive man wanted to control them. These are two polarizing views and this put TIM and Shepard at odds.

I can agree with your old ships being moved to Cerberus, makes them more unique instead of them just having variants of the Alliance ships.
Since your previous Alliance work now goes with Cerberus, does that mean that your Alliance Heavy Cruiser is going to take its rightfull place as the Alliance Dreadnought?

I am thinking of that human reaper cerberus took from collector base.
maybe the half finished human reaper can be loaded on a ship and go fight ? (a ship with bridge look like human...well)
what matters is the reaper "red canon".
I think for the reaper faction we should have a reaper model based off the concept art for the full finished human reaper

I like the idea of the Cerberus having a human reaper. not a perfect reaper and smaller then the reaper reapers. it should have minor indoctrination abilitys to. it would be so cool
Sweet. Are you going to add another Dreadnought for the Alliance or will just have the Heavy Cruiser be it? Also, will there be a difference between the Normandies of Cerberus and the Alliance?
Alliance will probably field the SR-1 while Cerberus will field the SR-2.
Will the Cerberus SR-2 be better then?

Cerberus build the ship. They have their own blueprint of the ship. Of course they can build other one.
They can't EDI is something they don't have right now
The Normandy is shepherd ship. The SR-2 class on the other hand, is the property of Cerberus.

I'm personally opposed to Cerberus being anywhere near the power they are in the series, if only because it tears the 'humans are a fairly new power the galaxy' theme of the first game to pieces, but this is grand work!
I especially love the Excalibur Station model, it looks almost as beautiful as it did in its cutscene.
Remember, The Illusive man himself owns SEVERAL companies most of which are ship manufacturers. As well as Cerberus Skunkworks (an arms company that produces arms and armor) and SEVERAL supporting companies that can and will donate to the "Human cause." In ME 1 the humans were still new comers to the galaxy but they were FAST approaching the levels of diplomacy and power that took races like the Volus or Elcor Centuries if not thousands of years. After the attack on the Citadel in ME 1 most of the Defense fleet was decimated and Humans stepped in along side in force to help defend. The Alliance ALSO for several years has been mass producing Carriers like a monkey hoarding bananas. My point is after Sovereign's attack Humanity was in a GREAT spot to step up and show the Galaxy what they could do. The whole reason we are treated like **** by the Council and other races is because they are scared of how fast we have come in less than a Century that rivals their work of thousands of years.
The SR2 took years of work to construct, and a lot of resources. Its kinda illogical for TIM to dedicate more assets to such a ship.

i think they are perfect for Cerberus to use as dreadnoughts, they look human made but are clearly not from the alliance fleet. Very nice work.
