The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

If you are improving your models I would recommend you give the destiny ascension a bit of a face lift. The textures on it are good but they seem a little outdated compered to your newer stuff.

please? the batarians were one of the stronges existing empires probably not as strong like turians but you can compare

batarians = russians
turians = america

the batarian empire was so strong that it isolated it self and lived a quite happy life until the reaper arrived, without any allied forces they were fighting alone and as far as i know they killed quite some reaper if im not wrong i think the batarians

destroyed:

one sovereign class capital ship which was found destroyed in orbit of one of their lost planets..

arround 800: Troop Transports vary in length between 200 meters and one kilometer and are used to transport husks to unconquered worlds and bring victims to Reaper processing centers. They lack sentience and are remotely controlled by the Reapers.

and 6 Destroyer: Destroyers are only 160 meters in height, but possess a formidable capacity for destruction despite their reduced stature, with their main gun easily capable of destroying cruisers in seconds. Unlike Capital Ships, they have four main legs, along with five jointed appendages encircling their "head". The frontal plates of a Destroyer can fold to the sides, exposing a powerful beam weapon. They are used to escort the capital ships, destroying smaller targets such as frigates. On the ground, they are capable of unfolding their legs and walking to support the husks, becoming extremely powerful heavy walkers. They are nigh-immune to ground vehicle fire and not at all fragile in space, but a cruiser is noted to be able to take out a Destroyer fairly quickly.

after that the leading empire structure was broken and military forces spreaded out in the galaxy for survival without coordination.. the reaper chased some of them but it was to "innefficent" so that they just ignored them and started attacking humanity

Would of made more sense if the reapers hit the turians first. take out the galactic super power in a few days, then focus on the other weaker races.

I'd hardly call Humanity "weak"

Did you not see the reaper invasion of earth? They took out humanity's most powerful world in the space of 3 days.

Not to mention they wrecked the entire fourth fleet with little to no resistance.
Wouldnt say humanity is weak but we were still not prepared. Once humanity got hit the Turians were able to prep for the worst to come some what.

Regarding the fall of humanity, the reapers actually bypassed the sixth and seventh fleets and rushed for Arcturus. Upon arriving, they decimated the fleets stationed to defend Arcturus station and jumped their primary force through the relay. Then they did a number on the First, Third and Fifth fleets, before Admiral Hackett ordered a full retreat sacrificing the second.

Prior to the reaper invastion of 2186, I estimate the Systems Alliance Navy had similar strength to a that of the Batarian navy if not greater. The council regards the Alliance as a "sleeping giant," as, in addition to a formidable military, they have incredible industrial and economic might not to mention potential draftees. Around 3% of all humans enlist and the Alliance Military is a volunteer force.

As for the Batarians, their military was mighty, but with no allies and Karshan's poor responses, their loss was inevitable. The initial "we're under attack," was replaced by "Remain calm, Karshan is fine. We deny the existence of reapers/giant space cuttlefis--Transmission lost--

The Reapers couldn't. They flew into the galaxy via standard FTL travel (40 ly/day) and the Batarian homeworld was the closest to them, so they started their wave of genocide there.

They never considered any of the existing races as "powerful". The Reapers have all the time they need to process rational beings into "Reaper-food" or whatever it is they do. The Humans were deemed a threat only because of Shepard, and were attacked among the first. Maybe the Batarians just happened to be on the way?

I see... thank you for the info! I new they had their own empire but I didn't think it was that powerful, just thought it was so far away no one bothered going near them :)

I'd compare the Turians to the Roman Empire, well more like Prussia with Roman military structure and hierarchy. There is little in common between them and the USA.

where did you get any of that information on how the batarians fought?

the reaper capital I remember being in leviathan but not much else.

the main power behind the Batarian Hegemony was their strict control and autonomy given through their government. not to mention a thriving slave market and labor force to basically drive their closed off economy.

the main strength the batarians held was their tactics and brutal weaponry, comparing them to the turians would be like comparing a hammer to a nail gun, both do the job but one does it with harsh unguided force and the other with precise concentrated power.

The Batarian race was almost entirely wiped off the face of the galaxy. Only a few representatives remain, as pirates that were on the other side of the galaxy at the time. But the fact remains - most of the Batarians are dead, like, 99% are dead.
