Mars Wars
- an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod. Mars Wars... As you can probably guess, takes place on Mars! It will take you though all sectors of the fourth rock from the sun through an intensive multiplayer campaign. Battle on the surface of Mars in APCs, Jeeps, and Aesir Fighters. Then go into buildings below to battle in levels like Killbox and Checkmate. Mars Wars promises to bring you non-stop action and entertainment! Make no mistake, Mars Wars is different from any Unreal Tournament 2004 mod you've ever seen!
Make no mistake, this mod will be different from all other UT2004 mods.
Why not for Unreal Tournament 3? (faq)
UT3 doesn't allow me to host servers. <- main reason (why bother making a multiplayer shooter that you can't play in multiplayer?)
Everything takes longer to make. <- lazy reason

Its been a while since we've updated the Moddb MW page ... but we've been busy get off our back :P.
Anyway, with MW 2.0 being released right around the corner we decided that we should update this page to keep the people at Moddb more informed about what progress is being made ...
Ive added a couple of more pics and we plan on updating that extremely old video which does MW 2.0 no justice :D .

You know what really amazes me about this mod ... even though the response wasn't extrodinary for 2.0, the team is still working on the mod >_> ... which will be the 3rd version of it :o ...
Sobe has placed several ads on our site in hopes to generate enough cash for a part time server ...
So basically if you see an ad on the MW site that you find interesting ... why not click it and find out more about it :) ...
What about destructible environments?
To assist with the mod, I've been making MarsWars voicepacks, using RFII sounds.
So far, I've made the following:
- Security Guard (Male)
- Red Faction Member (Male)
- Marine (Male)
- Marine (Female)
- Red Faction 2 Announcer
All these can be found at Levels4You, the website where this mod was originally conceived.
I had to reinstall Ut2k and now it works. The mod is really well done and I love the fast-paced action for it (just miss blowing up the bridges in badlands) very nice job and keep up the good work :)
