Mario Kart Source aims to bring the fun and excitement of the Mario Kart series to the PC though the powerful Source engine used in Half Life 2. We hope to create the ultimate version of Mario Kart (MK) by combining all of the best aspects into one game. We're not simply recreating one version of MK, but using the best parts of each. We want to have all the traditional weapons, characters, and maps but also bring out new weapons that make game-play interesting. We're redesigning the maps so that they keep their appeal, but truly utilize the power of the source engine. We plan to have at least 16 different characters, all the ones you know and love as well as some others from the Super Mario World. We want this mod to reflect what you guys want in a Mario Kart game. Have some cool weapon ideas? What special characters do you want? What about maps? We want to know! I don't call WART part of Mario, Wart Was originally in Dream Factory doki doki panic a Japenese game, Mario 2 was to hard for Americans (apparently) so they took Doki Doki Panic and slapped Mario' face on it for America D:D:D: all the characters and items where changed, but the maps, enemies (SHYGUYS, Wart, ETC) and such didnt change, not even Birdo, that's right Birdo came from that, it is a descrace to Mario,

Wart is in my SML2 Eur. version too.
I never tried the japanese version, maybe I should...
But Wart is a good deal to get another heavy new character.
The Japanese version can be bought on the Wii Shop Channel. It is called Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels everywhere but in japan where it's called Mario bros 2.
Well, We already know that Wart is a Doki Doki panic character like Birdo and the Shy Guys... but who cares?

I think I should add that he is officially a Mario character now though. (For example, Bob-Ombs were first in Doki Doki Panic/SMB2 but are now official Mario characters)
