Hey! Just to let you know, if you've been following this mod, there are some new screenshots for you to check out. Unfortunately, they really don't capture the dynamic nature of the game and I'm hoping to put up a trailer for this mod soon.

In other GREAT news, new talent is being added to the Marines of UAC team! Currently it is undecided what the nicknames will be that they will use so I can't say who they are just yet. For now, Just know that with their help the production speed of MoUAC should increase tenfold. The ambitions of the mod have been raised even higher because of these additions, meaning you can expect not only a sooner final product, but a much better one as well. A certain high degree of professionalism and quality control are going forward to ensure the merit of this mod.

We seek to do something with the Doom/EDGE engine that has never been done before. And we seek to also make this the most complete and playable Doom mod EVER. It's also going to be hella fun.

Just updating... things are going slow on this project but AWESOME ideas are flowing... will work on it more during the break in March. If you check out the website, you'll see I am going to release a demo to keep you happy and me entertained before guaranteeing a final product which will probably only be done in a few years due to other priorities in life.

Also, I set up a "brother" site, www.freewebs.com/nick_perrin.
Thanks for the support!

"is this mod dead or is it still alive "

This mod is still alive. It's just going slow, and updates will not be frequent until time of release of either the demo or the final product comes close. The demo should be done in not TOO long. And it will be quite fun, but also probably quite large for a doom mod...

"DOOM had a story? "

Doom had a very rudimentary story, about the teleporters that warped things and creatures in from hell, but I am taking creative liberties in this mod and creating an adaption of the doom story with far more detail, and relevance of plot to what you're actually doing in the game.

Hey this looks good. I'm glad to see that people still want to create Doom 2 mods (total converstions for the Old Schoolers).
I'm gonna keep up on this one.

This update is also found on the website, www.freewebs.com/mouac.

Hey folks. I didn't like where the mod was going. So I'm starting the maps AGAIN. But this time I have planned more of it, and anyway the bulk of the work has been in the props, enemies, weapons, sounds, and tweaking of the entire experience. I'm really trying to touch on every aspect of the game EDGE and DooM can offer to make this mod excellent in all respects.

I haven't worked on it in a while due to laziness/lack of interest. But, that was mainly because I was heading the mod in the wrong way (map/story - wise). I figured out that whatever is fun to play, is fun to make. So I was making a boring part and I want the whole damn episode to be fun and engaging! So the delay is worth it.

Besides, I was working so slowly, and now I have a plan and interest again. I will probably release a demo when I have 2-3 chapters done, so people don't lose interest or think the mod is dead. I'm really proud of my work, and like the guy below I like to have made and controlled basically 100%
of the mod except for help from others with maps. So you will see this doom mod exactly as I have always wanted to see doom mods.

Stay tuned! Thanks for the comments! Don't expect really fast progress, as I have school! And 420puffpuff, you can't download it yet.

I recommend staying tuned to the doom community but not hyper-attentive to this mod, because you will be waiting very long. Don't worry, I WILL MAKE SURE THAT ANY RELEASES RELATING TO THIS MOD RECEIVE LARGE AMOUNTS OF COVERAGE ON DOOM SITES AND IN THE FORUMS. You will know when I've finished and released something.

Long post! Thanks again!
