Hello! I am goning to improve the skins of all of the weapons of Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 and Earned In Blood. Enjoy!
The second version of the mod is here! Here's the main feature of this version: -Textures enhanced with some HD image of the real steel version of each gun -German weapons retexturized -Each texture tested, edited and modified by me where it's needed -The only non retexturized weapons are: Bazooka M1, Panzerfaust and Walther P38 -First person texture of the M1911 Colt is the standard issue M1911A1 Colt; The NPC texture of the texture is the nickel-plated M1911 of Baker's father. -The MP40 lower reciever is the Bakelite version. That's it! Have fun!
any chance for earned in blood release? I will review this once I can get to my PC! Thanks!
Actually, the EiB Version of the mod is on it's way!
I having trouble with the FG42 skin, though....
I'll do what I can do!
Hopefully, the EiB version will be uploaded tomorrow...
Now we just need to make the skins for the characters in Hd... Is there a sdk I can edit skins? Also any instructions on how to implament them in the game?
yes, the Sdk for brothers in arms is pretty easy to get, but it works only on win xp...
Marcomix I have a special request. If you need some form of donation for this let me know... So here goes, one thing I like about your version is that you have a different types of skin. And for some maps I have the polished weapons to load. But towards end of game the more rusty weapons (the ones came with the game) are used. And for me the stock game's first person model wasn't that bad so it worked.
HOWEVER, the npc still was way too low res.
So, now that you know how to place higher quality npc resolution textures in the game, could you possibly update the npc textures using the stock game first person skin textures as a template? This way, the muddy and dirty weapons can still be used in the latter levels and the npc quality will be better.
I will release my maps this week. But soon I will include an update so that every one has the option to have your polished weapons switch to the weathered versions toward the end of game.
Again, if you need any kind of donation do this extra work let me know! Thanks! Il asking because it will be about a month before I can edit the textures myself.
Already replied on the forum XD
Well, if you can send me the original texture files (wich i don't have anymore) I'll get the job done.
What about the woods? You want the original light ones or you prefer them to be darker?
