Thomas Angelo is sent to deliver an expensive vehicle to Mr. Salieri's cousin along with the gang. When rival mafia boss Morello finds out about the deal he makes sure this trip isn't going to be pleasant. He will do everything to get that car.
Experience a whole new Mafia storyline with a new script, environment, soundtrack, voice acting & missions delivering a whole new adventure with both the game's original -as well as- new characters.

What does this mod feature?

This mod includes a fully explorable and highly accurate replica of the RMS Titanic. A freeroam mode will be included for people who simply wish to explore the ship and everything on it. A whole new storyline will be featured as well which includes a number of missions around the ship, fully voice acted with a new soundtrack and cutscenes in between.
The sinking will also be included in this mod and you get to run around the ship as people are panicking and corridors flood. You get to see the ship slowly transforming from a luxury liner into a disaster scene.

When will it be done?

It will be done when it's done.
There were several release dates set in the past, and even a percentage bar was used. However, due to either improvements being constantly made or simply a lack of time because of college or work, these deadlines were never reached.
I cannot set a release date at this point simply because it's hard to determine. It would do more harm than glory to announce a release date and not reaching the deadline. Therefore I will not do that. Remember this though: I FINISH WHAT I START

What hardware do you need?

Can you run the game fine and ain't your computer cream coloured? Then you can run this mod.

What is actualy completed?

The image below shows everything that is done and ready to be placed ingame.

RVR Wishes everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
This Year started quite busy with having a new Job and moving to my own apartment. Once that all got settled I was able to make some nice progress this year and I expect next year to be a lot more productive since I can now direct all of my free time towards this project.

What's going to happen next?
I've started to notice that this mod has reached a point where the development time is having a negative effect on the mod's popularity. Of course I'm always aiming to get this project done as soon as possible without affecting the quality. I've therefore come up with the following plan;
1. All corridors will be modelled first. These are most important since they connect all areas and need to be included for this reason.
2. After all corridors are done and implemented, all storyline related areas will be modelled.
3. Once these areas are implemented, Asa, our mission programmer can start creating all missions and implementing the storyline within the game.
4. While Asa works on the missions, I can proceed working on the less critical areas. I've decided not to model every cabin for time saving reasons. However, plenty of cabins will still be accessible for you to explore. Mostly the duplicate ones will be kept away, and if there's enough demand, they could be added later on via a patch.

So far only these four steps are to be bothered with in 2015. I hope to get as much done as possible.

I want to give a big thanks to everyone who has been following this project throughout the years and never gave up on it! I really appreciate it!

VS and crysis are 2 things diffrent, like comparing a brick with a glass wine. ofcourse it looks better in crysis, because the Cryengine is far more advanced for rendering and such.

i'm being cursed by some people for using the LS3D engine for this titanic mod as details are less visible compared to modern day game engines.

Hudizzle made the model originaly for Virtual Sailor, but it has been converted to many projects ever since.
the Crysis titanic mod (or one of the many) with the completed ship is made by Hudizzle and converted by a Crysis user.

problem with most crysis mods is that people get too exited about the cryengine's capabilities, because of that they bite off a lot more then they can chew.
so their models take too much work to create because every detail must be made by the creator. the first few models go fine, but then they take a look at what's left to be done and see they only completed about 1% of the ship, and that took weeks for them to develop. so after all almost any project get's canceled because the creator got too overwhelmed of how much work it actualy was.

when posibilities are endless, your WIP is endless.
