I no longer dare to give estimates in percentages unfortunately, as I've misjudged the amount of work many times, resulting in much disappointment to many. Hence that I'm using the progression chart, which is a lot more straight forward. :)

These images really help us understand where each and every place in Titanic was, good work! Also, contacting an "official" Titanic authority might help you with the blueprints (like RMS Titanic Inc., National Geographic and/or the Titanic Historical Society), though you have done a great deal of work with the ones you have already. Keep it up ;)

Someone had recently quite generously provided me a whole lot of extremely detailed original construction drawings, showing every frame, bulkhead or techical layout of the ship. These are a fantastic source of reference. The only downside is that once I've seen a certain detail, I cannot ignore it. So it's a bit tricky to force myself into not going overboard on the accuracy. I reckon not many people are gonna notice it anyway when I place a 12 inch beam where a 10 inch beam should have been. :P

How nice! Also, I can understand you, I am an attention-freak myself :P . But, as you say yourself, only you will know the difference. We, the players, will notice none.

Can't wait for your next updates!

Description

Not particularly a 9-5 schedule as it is more of a 9-10 one, but the first full day has finally set production into motion again.

Although I did not finish all corridors of E deck, one big milestone has been reached. For the first time ever in this mod's development, the Grand Staircase has been fully fitted and optimized from top to bottom, meaning I am finally done with this area! Which I consider one of the hardest ones since it runs through so many decks without a single matching blueprint to use for reference.

As you can see on the renders, the starboard part is nearing completion. I divided this deck into 4 sections; fore, aft, port and starboard, the latter requiring most work due to the many side corridors and the sheer number of doors, which all needed to be positioned manually because of the deck's curvature.

Tomorrow I'll add the details to the starboard section and continue on the rest of the doors. Fortunately, the woodwork in 3rd class doesn't need that much work compared to the other areas, and Scotland Road has no corridors protruding outward.

Stay tuned for tomorrow!
