Description
Time to cover up my work. Some metal beams and planks and this hole is safe to defy.
Most hatches will have a few planks missing to allow the player to descent into the hold using the ladder. I think I will leave the planking for the foremost cargo hold, just for the sake of seeing the depth of the hold.
The game itself isn't nearly as well designed as this.
Have been tracking this one for a very long time now and each new screenshot does keep me amazing!
And nice to have a see through the floor boards, that does give real depth to the ship and shows its huge size. because this has to be a huge ship.
Can't wait to walk around it in. Hopefully you considder a video soon so we can see it in movie footage.

There's one planned for this area. ;) There's still a bit of work to do before it can be made, but sooner or later it will be there.

I like the new crossbeams, and I think you did some work on the other textures, too. Looks great! The wood is also nice, but what are those black dots for?
I assume these holes were added for easy grip to take a plank away from the hatch. Especially for planks in the middle.
I chose to leave it as a black hole, but this may become an alpha map once it's placed ingame. I need to test that out first to see if it looks right. Or perhaps I could just cut actual holes into the planks.
