The Devourer of Worlds.
A black hole is a region of space that has so much mass concentrated in it that there is no way for a nearby object to escape its gravitational pull.
The intense gravity within this Black Hole's gravity well interferes with sub-light engines. Ship maneuvering, thrust and velocity are all affected.
Intense Neutron and Gamma radiation is emitted by this black hole as it slowly eats surrounding space. Ship Hull's and Shield's are under a state of constant bombardment.
Event Horizon - Black Hole's Death Zone. Prepare to enter a different Universe ... or not.
Oh, a bynary system. Is ther a way to make the light distortion effect on this game?
Btw, id rather get black textures for it and remove those "clouds" on it.
The yellow star is being sucked into the black hole. The 'clouds' are crushed planets and stars being sucked into the black hole also. The graphics are not static but animated i.e particle effects.
I meant the "clouds" on the star texture.
Know what you mean ... black hole could be darker!

you should make a short vid to demonstrate the effects
I was think of the same thing ... see what I can do.
I remember sending my scouts very near to this kind of star. They got blown up lol. I sent them into the Event Horizon.
If you want it to be an authentic Black Hole, make it pitch black. Nothing else. Just pitch black.

is the black hole in R4 its not in the galaxy forge i have all the planets and stars but this one
New pictures are for R4
that is not a black hole that is a failed black. And I am serious there are such things called failed black holes. Its when a star collapses on its self and does not reach the black hole stage. hence the name failed star or failed black hole. But they have the same amount of gravitational pull except the failed black hole cannot trap light
hes right you know
