When unit mods collide! Madin will be mixing his C&C history mods up for you, since the C&C3 mod format does not allow you to do your own edits. Also if there are any models released to the community this will be the place to pick them up. Additional Mix mod releases will depend upon additional releases of either of the History mods.
Madin's defensive Turrets from the C&C: history mods!
Files include all necessary XML, W3X, and texture files needed for editing and compilation.
Contains both Allied & Nod Turrets.
It is assumed that you have the C&C3; mod sdk and have been able to at least compile the sample mod. Check the included read me for permissions.
The format that I've packed the files in means that they are ready-to-compile, no XML work is needed at all.
You are expected to adjust the code to your needs, all I have added are the basics. Balance and fine tuning are up to you.
This uses Lauren's 'ObjectGenericHC.fx' shader file, which has been included in locations correct for both users of Bibber's RA3 based mod tools or those who still use the classic buildmod.bat.
One is coded to replace the GDI guardian cannon, but of course you can use it how you please.
The other is coded to replace the Nod Laser Turret, but of course you can use it how you please.
Includes an upgrade (for the Nod Turret) which can be found in the Nod Operations Center.
Includes an alternate version which more closely matches the C&C3; Nod colouring.
You may re-distribute this package as long as all initial files, including this Read me and all uncompiled files, are included.
You may freely use, modify and improve all the graphical assets for any public mod as long as you give proper credits and it is not for any profit.
