This mod is based on a mission by the talented spyVspy, called 'The Machine'. In the mission you're supposed to stop a terminator-like intruder from breaching your defenses and controlling a missile base. Anyway, this mod digs into the subject a little more and adds 3 factions to the mix, which are ofcourse The Machine and his minions.

The mod currenlty supports skirmish/multiplayer, but a campaign is also being made, and skirmish scripts are being worked on.

The addition of this totally different faction changes the game immensely gameplay wise. The commando style tactics (without much base structures, so you can be on the move all the time) are a welcome addition to the already great game.

There. I've said it. Machine Chronicles version 1.02 is now officially finished. Though, it hasn't been tested and balanced yet, but I don't expect to make any changes to that. Still, I think it would be good to let a few people test it a bit, so I'm sure that it's bug free. So, I've put in a 'Help Wanted' thing, PM me if you're interested in beta testing my creation!

mods are never fully compatible, since it would require a lot of code editing to have two mods running at the same time.
However, it's not too hard to make an MS-DOS batch file which renames files (ie. renames mod1.bak to mod1.big and mod2.big to mod2.bak) so mods can be installed at the same time, they just can't be played at the same time.
