The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

Really nice work but some q's:
-Will it have a GL? I don't think so because i'd be silly if the handguards would still be on right?
-What texture res. are we talking here? 2k I suppose? and correspondent bumb's or 1k?
-And lastly, may I get a copy of you so I can forever glorify you in my room because hot damn this is the best m4 i've seen in a long while!
No GL with that hand guard, I'd have to make the ugly RIS one ;_;

Fas.org Or you could make a new grenade launcher. I always thought it was funny that they were putting a Swiss grenade launcher on everything.
I have that modeled already but using it would require removing a piece of the mesh when the GL is attached - XRay doesn't allow us to do this :C
I thought the problem was something like that, that sucks. Oh, and please keep the Swiss grenade launcher for the SG-550.

Why it's made with the wood? The brown scratches look really silly.
That's the bare metal. Some of the refs I've seen have quite yellowish/brownish tint.
Those are probably scratches thru the duracoat i.e corrosion

I'm mostly waiting to see those animated. Animations can make such a great impact in my optinion, especially the position of the weapon on the screen, e.g.
