Once there was a place where the past and the present met in brutal confrontation. Man felt he had controlled it, had contained it, and began to understand it. But the forces of nature were never meant to be controlled, to be contained. Or, it seemed, to be understood. Until now.
A Japanese research ship is stranded on an unknown island in the Atlantic. Time and tide have laid waste to the barren facilities there, once built to contain and study the most fantastic and terrible lizards ever to have existed. Welcome to the age of the dinosaurs.
Jump back in time in an adventure that will intrigue, thrill and terrify you. As hired mercenary Johann van de Beer, you will fight to protect your friends and confound your enemies. As Dr. Saskia Brezhnev, you will learn to understand this ancient land and find clues to solve the mystery of what really happened. Together you must survive as you dodge gunfire, careen through lush forest and face the most fearsome creatures to have ever walked the Earth, in this action-packed adventure.

I hate to think we set off on the wrong foot on this. I'm sorry you read what I wrote like that, but it seems you have taken my words somewhat out of context.
When I said 'boring', I wasn't actually talking about the Jurassic Park storyline - far from it. I think it's clear we all appreciate the great work that Crichton, Spielberg and all the boys over at Universal did - we wouldn't be spending our precious time making games paying homage to their concept if we didn't!
I was in fact talking about the concept of making a game (or mod) straight out of the JP plot - which has been done and doesn't offer anything new in terms of storyline. This is the aspect I feel we are trying to be more creative with, what myself and the LWR team are gearing towards and why I find a straight JP concept boring (and that's my opinion, which I'm sure I don't have to tell you I'm entitled to). However, as you've made clear, you're more about simply experiencing being on the island with the dinosaurs - which is great and there's definitely a market for that and I think you're doing a great job.
Of course, I had no intention of sounding condescending or patronising. Myself and the team are naturally all about the community, we love games and all we want to see is good stuff get made, and people doing what they love well.
So I hope we can put this silly episode behind us and get on with making some shit-hot games for all to enjoy - whatever their tastes. Can't wait to see more of your work.
Nick and the LWR Team
I’m not one to disregard constrictive joint efforts, but we are not following the [same] storyline as [you are, because] it’s rather boring[.]
We find ourselves being more creative and expanding on the JP universe more, and giving the player something new and exciting.
That’s why I believe a joint effort would not work, with the story at least.
We would be more than happy to share research material, give constructive criticism and strengthen the community. However as a mod we would rather operate on our own goals and standards, just like the [LRW] mod are.
No Chance ;)

It is not about finding out the conclusion like a normal story... this is about experiencing it in a new way, reliving it.
Sorry you find the original concept to be BORING; You not only insult the very novel and film you are basing your mod on, but you also are claiming that your custom storyline is more brilliant by glorifying it and calling JP boring.
So tell me... how do your comments sound when they are re-directed back at you? Do they sound respectful and benign? I bet others will find it rude, but you said it to me.
Don't come to my ModDB profile advertising your mod, and pretending like we are a bunch of morons sucking our thumbs that need your help. And don't imply we are inferior either because you are quote "more creative".
Chris, you were also the first advertiser, YOU are the first spammer chris, and you should not blame other people for your mistakes.
i was thinking of something maybe like just have a battle between two humans and then two dino's come in
There will be plenty of human involvement, and the dinosaurs wont be a primary enemy ;)
Thats all im going to say, as i dont want to spoil the plot
nice plot :)
If you do not complete the mod for arma could you please release
the undone work
