Today we got extremely exiting news! Lost Dragons has made into the 10 finalists of the Make Arma Not War mod competition!

We are thrilled of the news and greatly honored by this acknowledgement. Whatever the outcome of the competition, we see this as a sign that we are on a right direction with the mod and this gives us great inspiration to continue forward.

The MANW competition has spurred some great mods and if you are not yet familiar with them, do check them out! Like NOW.. or after you've done reading the rest of my rambles.

Modders Logbook - January 2015

I thought I might try making monthly progress updates and keep you all informed what we've been up to.

First of all the first dropship has made its way into game and has proven to be a non aerodynamic airwhale.. Sure theres enough engine power to lift it up, but maneuvering it is next to impossible. Gotta get back to tweaking the configs.

Most of the moving parts are working and the interior is walkable although it still looks really crude. More details are in the works though.

On Blufor side the Old War combatants are getting reinforcements as our talented Duke_Nathaniel has been busy working on our second walker to populate the forgotten battlefields of New Eden.

I can't wait to duke it out with these on the ruined streets. Just think about it, finding one in the ruins still operable and loaded and then bringing on the pain on the competing corporation! No one steals our loot!

Lastly new year brought in new winds and blew away the "old" new map we were making as something in it began to irk me. Complete terrain geometry overhaul brought up a new more structured map base that can bear all my crazy plans for it. I Give you Necropolis 2.0:

Thats it for this month, there was actually more than I though. Mod developing gets quite slow sometimes as there is not always much time to work on it. Anyway, progress is steady.
