This is just so sad...I mean, both the disaster (where people die even TODAY of cancer caused by the radiation) and your endless internet stupidity.
There no place for humor, Chernobiyl is a greatest tragedy...
Maybe not the biggest, but the most memorable for mankind.
Personally, I don't forget Chernobyl liquidators who sacrificed their lives for the NPP. Same for all the died persons and the others who abandoned their homes.
STALKER reminds the liqidators as well in its own, strange way...snorks.
Pff. I jusst read what on liquidator wrote. He was a soldier at the Zone in 1986. The HQ ***** took some sand and other materials from ChNPP's blocks 5 and 6 to build food and equiptment storage for a military camp inside the Zone, and it was 0.3 roentgen per hour in the new built storage!!!
The soldier found it out and went to the HQ to tell about this - the HQ ***** said "**** OFF, or we'll write such review about you, so you'll never get a job".
Now that's the soviet crap that explains all that crap that happens in soviet and post soviet Russia.
Nuclear blowout because of stupidity (they left rookies for a difficult night experiment and turned off the imergency reactor stop system which had nothing to do with the experiment so it caused the explosion) - check.
People in Pripyat were told about the accident only few days after - check.
The HQ built storages and other buildings in the liquidators' military camp using highly radioactive materials - check.
The HQ did not care about the situation - check.
The Sarcofagous warranty was expired in 2006 - check.
