The story itself is set after the epic battle depicted in This Is War with the PLA forces slowly asserting itself on the island again in the absence of Japanese resolve to defend the territory. Once again they find themselves calling on the military assistance of the US. Having answered the call, the story focuses on the experiences of a special operations team that had already seen its fill of the island in the previous conflict.

The first mission is undergoing its final tests and should be posted in the next couple of days. It puts you right into the story and gives you control of what happens as the soldiers fight to survive. The name of the first mission in the campaign is Flight of Fear. For myself and the entire development team, we are very excited about what we have done and hope you will enjoy the mission and upcoming editions of Long Road Home as much as we have enjoyed bringing them to you.
