Thrain's Vale
Thrain's Vale is set in a valley of the Blue Mountains in the far west of Middle-Earth.
Named in honour of the Dwarf King Thrain.
This map has steep snow covered cliffs and mountain passes giving it a layered layout giving the players the option of taking either the open approach of the snow covered valley, the wider passage or the narrower high pass to approach the enemy.
A 2 player Castle map with 2 expansions guarded by the very dangerous Snow Trolls.
The mountain passages are guarded by Wild Orcs making the passages even more dangerous.
Looks cold...good thing Dwarves are a hardy folk.
