Half-Life 2 mod | Coming Dec 2008
Lift aims to make a Mech based multi-player game, that doesn't just LOOK like the anime its based off of, but feels like the anime its based off of. You will fly thought the sky and battle for your life, in over the top action packed mech battles. Battle on the ground or in the sky on Reff boards that give you control over crazy amounts of power and speed. Hello again, this is PlinkoTink with the News 14 for Lift Mod.
It looks like this month belongs to our 3D modeler Doug, He just wont stop making stuff. So to start things off, lets show off one of his most recent works, the Monsoono
We saw this LFO used for basic military opertations throughout most of The Eureka Seven series. That fact alone makes it a perfect candidate for The arena. While its not the best LFO on the market, it has enough armor to keep it in the fight, just dont expect to outrun anyone.
On top of that we also have a new map model in the works, and when I say we I mean Doug.
The GekkoState will be the center piece of our newest map. Once compleated expect to be able to roam the halls of the ship and perhaps speak to some of your favorite characters from the show? Keep an eye on us for updated versions of this model. Thats about it for this month everyone, over all production is moving forward in every department, which is probably why I was able to change
our release date on ModDB.
Our team has been meeting every week using ventrillo to give progress reports and bring up issues. All in all we have never had a tighter team. From the looks of things its time to start doing some team interviews.

Yes Ive played ZOE2 and thru one. I think it will be better tho, combat between two real people tends to be more challenging and less predicable.

Sorry I'm an idiot but what does that Q4 mean? up at the top it says the supposed release date is Q4 2008. Could you please tell me what this is? Oh and good work on the game. It's looking really good and I like the trapper mechanics.
Q4 means 4th quarter of the year 2008. basically, December. And thanks for the comments :)
well i dont really know how your going to keep information on all servers but i hope u good luck on that but if u do get it to work then come tell me how u did it b/c the clan im in wants to make a mod but dont have the time,lazyness and stuff so... but ya GL on the mod hope it comes out with a open beta soon
It will be a mix of serverside code and steam ID. There are already a few mods that use this system to save things like LVL and inventory.
Eureka is the Best Anime I have seen. I don't have Half life 2 but If the mod ever come out, I will intantly buy HL2,Download this mod, And play it all day cause I'M a big fan of eureka :P Hope this mod come out well with out any problems.(mods dies,increases release date) Wish you good luck, to every one making the mod.
