Lethal Tanks is a mod that focuses on tank and vehicle warfare in the realm of ZH. It adds many new units, new structures and powers. The ability to build infantry (except some special units) is now reserved to only one special general, which in turn, is unable to build any tanks. Furthermore, artillery units have been heavily nerfed so that they are very much unsuitable for offensive campaigns. So, no longer can you win a game by amassing scud-launchers. There is also a penalty for building air-untis, and bombers are only suited for attacking buldings and base defences, not tanks. This mod contains some of the best stuff from my other mod Destructive Forces, but gameplay and factions are not the same. The goal of this mod is to create a well balanced mod, with an advanced tech-tree, making you think twice before you start researching that particular upgrade. This mod will contain seven different playable generals.

Disclaimer: I found out that the previous upload with the .big-file didn't actually work unless using the install method mentioned for First Decade. However, in doing so you also miss out on some configurations made to how the game plays. So I recommend you use this version instead! Basic focus is on tank and vehicle warfare with hard to acquire superweapons, expensive air-units and non offensive artillery units. This mod also comes with custom music tracks, unique for USA, China and GLA. Built from Destructive Forces. Have fun! Please report any bugs or balancing issues.


This mod contains seven different generals/factions. Some general changes compared to vanilla ZH:* All six generals can build the same two SuperWeapons, and only those two. * The seventh general is Unable to build any superweapons* All six generals can only build five standard infantry units* The seventh general can build a large variety of infantry, but no tanks* All six generals requires power, and can build aircraft.* All artillery units have had their range and speed nerfed, they all require power, they all require a science upgrade to be built.* Airfields have been capped to two/general. Airfield also requires a science to be built.* Bombs dropped from jets will at max destroy one tank/bomb. They are thought to be used primarily against base defenses!* Upgrades will require more effort (time and money) to be researched* Some Special Units will require an upgrade in order to be buildable.* Superweapons must be researched, same goes for money generating supply sources.* Base defenses will not detect stealthed units, instead, you'll have to build special structures or units/upgrades to detect enemy stealthed units.* The seventh general is the exception to the above rule, sine the tower defence structure will also detect stealth.* Special powers are harder to accuire (need more points)Basic focus is on tank and vehicle warfare with hard to acquire superweapons, expensive air-units and non offensive artillery units.This mod also comes with custom music tracks, unique for USA, CHina and GLA.

Overlord General's large airship is busted you can not unload once loaded and its missing the popup info

Just found a bug. The Nuclear Bunker becomes invisible after Upgrading the Generators, which makes it impossible for units to enter.

Anyway, this is a very good mod :)

How exactly do i install this? I copied the MOD CONTENTS folder to main ZH Directory but thats just the folder and not the mod files so nothing happened. Plz help.

You should copy the CONTENTS (the Art and data-folders) of that folder to your ZH root :)
