What is Legend Returns?
Legend Returns is an Eastern-made S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod based on version 1.4.22 of Call of Chernobyl, set between the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. It includes a return to the atmosphere and general feeling of Shadow of Chernobyl, in addition to several new gameplay features, completely new questlines, a leveling system, and restored content from build versions of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
The translation is still a work in progress, but has been released to the public and is progressing steadily! It also has a GitHub page, where detailed progress of all files is kept.
How is Legend Returns installed?
A clean version of version 1.4.22 of Call of Chernobyl is required to install Legend Returns. If you’d prefer to use an installer that already contains Call of Chernobyl, you may skip to the Installer version section below.
These files need to be installed into a single directory in order:
- Call of Chernobyl — main files, 1.4.12
- Call of Chernobyl — patch files, 1.4.22
- At this point, the bin folder in the Call of Chernobyl directory should be deleted, and, if it exists, the gamedata folder as well. Be aware that this will clear any existing add-ons and modifications. Proceed by installing the following files into the Call of Chernobyl directory:
- Legend Returns — main files, 0.9.1
- Legend Returns — patch files, 0.9.2
- Legend Returns — translation files
Installer version
- Legend Returns — main files (torrent with an installer in Russian), 0.9.2
- Legend Returns — translation files

I think i put everything in correct order but the game is not translated... I mean it is but the quest titles are missing, some dialogues are in russian, and faction descriptions are in russian... What is the problem?
I've installed the translation, but barely any of the game is actually translated. None of the quest dialogs are in English, and most of the quest titles are missing, have I goofed up?
Im having the same problem... Did you find a fix?
Game is crashing on Darkscape at night and I have no clue why, I thought it was some tushkanos causing the crash but I deleted the shader cache to reset settings, changed everything back and tried again and I managed to kill them, but it's still crashing.
I tried changing to directx8 basic or static lighting but no luck, still crashing. No idea why.
EDIT: Nevermind that, it's crashing everywhere, no matter the place, at night. I tried everything, no luck. Oh well, guess I will not get to play the mod. My PC has no problem running the game so I don't know why it's crashing
EDIT 2: I think I discovered why, it only crashed with Directx11 or Directx10 Enhanced but not with Directx9 Enhanced
EDOT 3: Nope, it's crashing all the time now, again. Damn, I literally can't finish this mod and I really liked it :/ Also the Protecta shotgun is prone to crashes
Does anyone have a fix for the stuttering? For other STALKER games/mods, I can ignore it cause it doesnt happen often, but in this instance its completely inexcusable. I'm not running it on a potato either, so Idk what could be causing it.

does anyone know how to get a stalkers brain? playing as a sinner and theres a quest for it, but cant figure out how to get one. also: whats the ritual mask for?
You need to get the "Ritual Blade" from the trader for 5 hearts and level up Robbery (and maybe also Survival) once, and then just go kill stalkers, you get 1 random part per stalker.
