Legend of the Galactic Heroes (LoGH) is based on the japanese animation series bearing the same name. LoGH is all about the epic battles between gigantic fleets of the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance. This mod will feature different political factions of the empire or the alliance. We aim to recreate the space opera feeling and the fleet tactics employed in the series. Research and economics will be reduced to a minimum and the main focus will be on tactics and fleet movements like in the series.

Wow Great work wish to know when itll be released!
Well nothing decided yet. But we will probably begin testing a tactical version (excluding the economy part which will be completed later - that means you will be able to fight it out with predefined fleets and limited building capabilities) soon. First only internally but we might decide to release the tactical version end of this year and then continue to implement full economy/research.
But I wont promise anything so far :P

i watched LotGH a good while back, even went as far as to complete the ovas and anything else related to the show in general, and just the other day after playing sins for about 8 hours straight i thought how awesome a mod for the game based on legend would be, and here i find it, i'll definately get this mod, i think the anime this mod and the game go well together. Thank you.
i'm about 1/4th done watching the entire LotGH saga, and what a series it was! i'll probably buy a new system and SoaSE just to play this mod when it is released. sieg heil!
