one question, will it be an exact replica of tiberian sun? (no changes to the original game)

I know, the restraint of the C&C3 modding community is brilliant!

Zero Hour modding are currently on their 375th mod that "improves the existing generals, while making the differences between the sides more pronounced".
2 of the Top 5 Zero Hour mods fit this category and many of the up and coming mods are also in the same style.

Cabal/Legion Jan 12 2011 says:

im woundering will there be any subfactions in this mod? ive been having in mind that if there will be 1 new faction for each main factions like

GDI, Steel talons

i had in mind that Steel talons can be gdi from tiberian sun that has the titan, sandstorm, mammoth mk 2,mastodon,Kodiak Talon, they use mostly hover and walker vehicles.

GDI still have what they have in TW mostly their vehicles are slow and tough like they were in tiberian dawn and the faction returned from then to C&C3.

Legion/MOK could have all cyborgs infintry
Nod keeps all their infintry as humans/soldiers

I am not planing subfactions. New factions possible will be later. But you will see some more Forgotten units in mutant hovel.
And there possible will be CABAL faction, but these need much work

MORE epic than Essence? Doubtful... possible, yet doubtful. I shall reserve judgement for when I see the Tiberium Legacy Mammoth Mk II in action. The Essence version can be upgraded with a Disc Launcher Turret (for additional anti-ground punch) or an Anti-Air Rail Gun Turret (for extra anti-aircraft firepower). If the Legacy variant can be upgraded for similar (if not the same weapons) then the possibility of a greater Epic Quotient (EQ) will have gone up some. As it is, I'd put Essence at an EQ of 400 (which is True Epicness).

True true TE does have true EPICNESS....but I'm very interested to see how this mod comes out because it looks VERY good. I love the C&C4 models in C&C3 style instead of the stupid style of the actual C&C4. I only played the demo of C&C4 and I wasn't very impressed. The concept of it though was...somewhat understandable. I do like the crawler concept, but I think it would function better though as a normal MCV. Like when it's moving around tryin to find an area to set up it can still have the legs or float or whichever one you wanna use and still have the guns to defend its self, but when you deploy it it would just function as a regular MCV and still be able to build defenses, superweapon, other buildings etc as you can in every other C&C game
