Here it is, what you've been waiting for all these months. Version 3.0 of Left 4 Theft. You won't see many new missions in this new release, but you'll see more and better features instead!
I have made a little changelist which will show what has changed since version 2.1:
Non-mode changes:
- New game mode: Fortress Mode
- Special Infected added to all game modes.
- New sounds added to each mode.
- 3.0 features all previously released DLC and more.
- Left 4 Theft is now missionpack ready.
Free Mode:
- Changed zombie spawn, zombies will now spawn further away when the player is in a car.
- Random fires and destroyed cars will spawn in the area of the player.
- New city mission in San Fierro.
- New sound effect when a mission is completed.
- New inventory feature.
- Random spawning item dealers who will sell weapons and items.
- Third cultist camp.
- Added a help menu.
- New feature to switch between normal and foggy weather.
- Added an extra save point in LV for both players with the Bandits and Army.
- Added extra info after certain missions.
- The Army, Bandit and Scavenger camps now have a clothes pickup to change the player's outfit.
- New Survivor base at the small island east of San Fierro.
- Minor tweaks and bug fixes.
Survival Mode:
- Added sounds at the start and end of a wave.
- Added an upgrade menu at the end of a wave, the player will also receive money.
- Each fifth wave, special infected will spawn.
Fortress Mode:
The Fortress Mode is the new game mode for version 3.0. After selecting one of the three locations you can start defending your leader and fortress by placing items and buying upgrades. Survive for as long as possible to earn more money and fully upgrade your fortress. Wanna take a break? Simply save your game and continue whenever you want.
And probably I have forgot some small things which are not that important. Hopefully this won't end like 2.0 which resulted in 2.1. Anyway, download 3.0 now and enjoy!

I have this weird problem with version 3.0 that i didnt have with 2.1. When i start a mission the game seems to get choppier, even though there isnt any fps drop, and the farther i travel with an active mission the more of the game dissapears, like the ground started goin invisible and other textures. its not THAAT bad if the mission location is close to where i am and i can finish it fairly quickly, but now i cant do certain missions cause i have to travel a long distance. you think its just MY files got messed up? if no one else is having this prob then ill try reinstalling everything. Otherwise this mod is a blast i give you 2 thumbs up, good job

RoxLoader, I'm sorry for not being online 24/7 on ModDB. I actually don't give a single f*ck if you play my mod or not. You should consider changing your attitude, boy. Now to answer your question, I haven't had time to add the special infected to the Free Mode. They are carrying ****** because the ***** is replaced by the additional files which come with the download. This to give them custom animations.
But you could add them in the new version?, and because they are in survival mode with a fake pen..is in hand?
I really appreciate your mod, but you could improve it, not take it anymore kill zombies holding a *****
Excuse, me, but I did not install the mod, it hangs on Futorot.tff
You could try to install it in a new folder and replace the files yourself.

Hooray! Helped. Although the installation still hung on Futorot.tff, but then the game is a new game will be started!
When i play on free mode and get to the part where Sweet leaves Cj the game crashes and i have already re-installed the L4T. Pls FIX IT! And it said a file called BDS/Backdoor.gen5 has a virus in it!
It's because of the scm500k.asi file. Many anti-virus programs think it's a virus but it isn't. It's just a plugin for San Andreas. If you turn off your anti-virus program the mod should work.
