Lazarus mod for Half-Life 2

On the planet Earth hundreds of years in the future there is a war. A constant war of the skinks fighting against the humans. The human outcasts are also around trying to survive in little farming villages. The demons are also lurking... they are extremely powerful and uncivilized. Very few people have seen them and lived.

You wake up, dazed and naked in an open cage. As you look around you see bodies and blood smattered all over the floor. As you become conscious and your eyes dilate you see four other people unconscious next to you. You shake a few of them and they slowly come to. Everyone is silent and you speak… “Who.. What am I doing here?” a slender woman said “I’m umm… I think… My name is… I don’t know…” “We should get out of here.. Before we end up like the others” All five start on their way out, wincing at the pain the sharp rocks cause to their feet. You and the rest walk out of the cave and look back, seeing five cages, chains on the walls, and a man missing his legs tied to the wall.

As the small group walked out of the cave onto a grassy plain there was a path with strange foot prints, and some marks that looked as if some one was being dragged. As the group made their way through some dense and tall grass just outside the cave they find a river. One older male said “I think we should follow the path it could lead us to...” You cut him off.. “No I don’t think we should, it will lead us straight into the paths of whoever killed all those people back there” you point back to the cave. “Well I’m going, ill take my chances... Anyone else want to come?” Another male raised his hand “Yes, I will go with you” The two started off down the path.

The last three look around and you speak out “I think I am called … Charles” The slender woman says “I don’t know who I am but you can call me Comfort” The last male said “I am… Bill” Comfort, Bill and Charles look around and Charles spots a river “Lets follow that river, we might be able to find help” The other two nodded in approval, and looked down the river…

Skinks - The skinks are small lizard creatures, roughly 4 feet tall and very fragile. They possess extremely powerful acid guns or acid bombs. The acid guns spray a stream of green acid burning the skin off its victim.

Outcast - The outcast are humans shunned from their former society sent to live in the open grass lands where demons and camping skinks lurk. The outcast makes their weapons and houses from the crashed ships and rubbish all around them.

Demons - There is not a lot of data on the demons except that they are dark usually caped creatures that gather around fires and speak in a demonic language that can’t be deciphered by anyone so far. They kill their opponents by slashing them with their large claws or using poorly crafted melee weapons.

Marines (Special Forces) – These marines have high tech battle suits with heavy armor and few vulnerable spots. They have long range battle rifles and a small pistol. The marines are deadly opponents and do not have mercy on anyone.

The game play will have many things new to half life 2 including the following for single player...

-Be part of the outcast and survive storms, deadly attacks from skinks, demons, other outcast villages, and even marines.
-Combine different items to make weapons such as a javelin or a spear by combining a rope, a large stick and a sharp piece of metal.
-Give commands to your allies to take cover, prepare for an attack, or harvest the vegetables. (Many of these commands will be done similar to a function found in Ghost Recon where you have a red dot and you assign your allies to that spot to do a certain action.
-Explore and make more allies. Find outcast villages and try to make peace with them.
