Lambda Wars (formerly Half-Life 2: Wars) brings the struggle between the human resistance and their Combine overlords to a multiplayer real-time strategy setting. The Lambda Wars beta only requires Alien Swarm installed to play. It features 3 multiplayer game modes: Sandbox, Annihilation and Overrun, showcasing the Rebels and Combine playable factions and a full-fledged RTS interface and HUD. There is also a singleplayer tutorial and a handful of singleplayer missions.

Why shotgun shoot so quick?
maybe it's an automatic shotgun
oh, all from Half Life, and shotgun not from HL? or it super puper shotgun - destructor of balance?
The Combine soldiers(all of them) have the speed, firing rate, abilities, and damage modified for the sake of developer/beta testing and getting the final settings for the units right. They will be changed closer to the Antlion demo release.

These songs were more tests than anything. It will get better ;)
I think most people would rather listen to some new songs that fit in with the hl2 universe (which sbeasts do) then listen to the same old hl2 tracks.
Is it only upspeeded for the video or is it really that ingame? Because it seems too fast for me compared to normal HL2 speeds.
You mean the wave intervals? The video does skip some parts, maybe I should have put a nice fade between them.
If you mean the movement speed or fighting, it might be bit fast.
This looks great. I assume there os a speed option or something ingame for Single player?
Also, will you be able to build buildings, walls and towers; eg Age of Mythology. Or is game play similar to Star Wars Empires of War where you buy them and they are automatically placed? Really looking forward to this; I do like a good RTS game. :D
The gameplay is only basic atm as this is a multiplayer demo of sorts. Future frequent updates will bring more great stuff.
Make the dark areas (where there are none of the player's units) darker. But wander how will this feel while I play it...

he needs to add the ability to build the towers that pound the ground to keep ant lions away would be really cool and would work good in an RTS
