Half Life 2 is pretty much guaranteed to be even bigger then the first, and therefore it’s vital that the new generation of mods are equally as big. Lambda Co-Op is one of these mods. It offers the whole of Half Life’s single player levels as a team based cooperative game as well as a slew of new maps, weapons and enemies for you and your online friends to gun down. I on behalf of the Lambda Co-Op team would like to apologies for a mistake that was made concerning the artist known as Sparth.

We have been using some of his work as early concept art for the mod, I gained permission to do this but now it seems that the artist has made a 180 turn and decided to retract this access.

I would like to apologies to Sparth for any inconvenience that might have come about due to this mistake.

The mod is still planned to go ahead but we will first have to either sort something out with Sparth or find ourselves a new concept artist.

I am deeply upset that this has happened, I am a great fan of Sparth as I am sure you are and anything I do towards him that is considered negative is very upsetting.

first of all i guess that this situation has been a bit confusing. and i have to do my own excuses, as mr magnetichead effectively received a mail from me, as it seems. however, it is clear that there were images that were spread here and there on the web, with no credits given to the artist, and i had to absolutely talk to mr magnetichead concerning this fact.
i have given to mr magnetic head, the autorisation to use 10 images from my site, to use exclusively for this mod. these images cannot be used for anything else than this mod. and you will be kind to report to me if any creating mapping sites use these images without my consent.
once again, a few points had to be cleared up concerning the use of these images. it is now thing done

We have been given the rights to 10 images for exclusive use and the mods still underway :)

I was wondering the same thing. They look good, but there's no game to back them up. I say stop posting them and actually work on the mod. When you have work done that matched the concept art, then show it. Otherwise it's really no different from some new team showing off their latest model.
