Firstly, thanks to everyone for once again voting L'Aigle into the Top 100! It's an honour and I hope you've voted again now that we've made the Top 100. Please do if you haven't (and assuming you see this before the fast-approaching deadline).

After more than three years in development, the singleplayer alpha for L'Aigle now has a release date, which can be seen in the new HD trailer. The trailer also shows off a variety of features and content in the mod, from the cities to the battlefields. A new map, hundreds of new items, new scenes, new sounds, new animations, new features and more are all set to appear in the upcoming alpha.

Thanks for watching the trailer. I look forward to releasing the mod more than anyone and I can't wait to have years of mine and others' hard work pay off and provide you with an in-depth recreation of Napoleonic Europe.

That's all for now.

Finally, after 3 years of waiting, L'Aigle is now being released! I have two questions about the mod however. 1: How big will the file be? 2: Will this have an automatic installer or will it be a regular .rar or .zip file that I have to extract to the modules folder myself?

It'll be a .rar and it should be under a gig when compressed.

I would imagine 2 gb and an automatic installer, but just wait for doc to reply because I am probably wrong, just a guess.

I think this is akin to the communities reaction to a release date.

Fore score and 3 years ago, Docm30 brought forth an innovative idea to create the first true, accurate, Napoleonic Era modification for M&B Warband, and above all, the most ambitious yet. Now, 3 years later, we are in the dawn of its arrival. We are met on the site of that mod, and to give homage to the great dcom30 for his noble efforts for possibly the best mod ever. Upon which this mod shall arrive, a community of moderators, for the gamers, by the gamers, shall not perish from the Earth.
