Straight to the point. After years of hard-work L'Aigle finally has a release. This is a singleplayer only open alpha for the time being and it is admittedly rough around the edges. Please bear the following things in mind:

It is a very early alpha and lacks items and various content, it has tons of repeated scenes, it has native quests and features, it has a general lack of polish and so forth. Please remember it's the very first version and thus very rough. Over the coming months the mod will get new items, new quests, new scenes, new features and much more.

L'Aigle Singleplayer Open Alpha 1.0

If you're not familiar with the mod or need a refresher, here is our latest trailer again:

The mod should be available from the 'downloads' section of this profile or one of the various mirrors that are going up soon. I'll update this news post as they are added.

Please read the description on the file and the read me contained within the .rar. I hope you enjoy the mod and I hope it gives you a taste of what's to come in the future.

Silly questio...not computer savvy. If I download the alpha, when beta comes out will I have to download and install that myself or will it automatically update? Same question for any patch. Will you need to delete the alpha once beta comes out and reinstall it or what. Again, not the brightest bulb over here

You will have to download and install it yourself. Despite the fact the game itself patches, well, itself... It's not the case for mods. So keep checking this page often enough so you know when to update your favorite mods! ;)

Pay to play? You're the type of person that gives support to completely unfinished games, so that when the "Full release" comes out, everything they promised that would be in the game never gets added. Pay to play is the worst kind of marketing scheme. Shame on you. Shame. SHAME! (PS. this mod is amazing)

I do give support to early access only if they mean well and look pretty awesome nothing wrong with it. I don't see that the early access is going away so deal with it, although most games what come out in early access are just awful the dev lie about what is put in on a full release i have only had 2 games that did not lie space engineers and 7 days to die the rest were just jokes (Referring to steam) to many companies are taking advantage of the pay to play early access its always a gamble hope for the best or keep complaining until u get a refund I have gotten 6 out of 7 early access games money back from steam still waiting on stomping land. They DO give u a warning before u buy so yeah (PS. lol it is amazing I would donate to help if the dev needed it)

In my new campaign my friends won't switch to melee weapons - even if I order them to. I already changed weapons for them. Any suggestions?
