Straight to the point. After years of hard-work L'Aigle finally has a release. This is a singleplayer only open alpha for the time being and it is admittedly rough around the edges. Please bear the following things in mind:

It is a very early alpha and lacks items and various content, it has tons of repeated scenes, it has native quests and features, it has a general lack of polish and so forth. Please remember it's the very first version and thus very rough. Over the coming months the mod will get new items, new quests, new scenes, new features and much more.

L'Aigle Singleplayer Open Alpha 1.0

If you're not familiar with the mod or need a refresher, here is our latest trailer again:

The mod should be available from the 'downloads' section of this profile or one of the various mirrors that are going up soon. I'll update this news post as they are added.

Please read the description on the file and the read me contained within the .rar. I hope you enjoy the mod and I hope it gives you a taste of what's to come in the future.

All you have to do is ask your Foot Soldiers to use melee only, they will switch to using bayonets instead of shooting their rifles, then just ask the Foot Soldiers to charge, this should be pretty effective unless the enemy has a lot of Cavalry.

arty is grouped under key 9. or unnamed 6. if you issue a command to everyone to hold fire then they will too. Otherwise they have a loader per cannon that automatically reloads and shoots. It's very slow though. He stands there and stabs the barrel with his rod. As dirty as that sounds.

As if that wasn't enough, when there aren't enough loaders to properly load the cannon, they just stand on top of it and start dry-humping the air instead. True story.
