Straight to the point. After years of hard-work L'Aigle finally has a release. This is a singleplayer only open alpha for the time being and it is admittedly rough around the edges. Please bear the following things in mind:

It is a very early alpha and lacks items and various content, it has tons of repeated scenes, it has native quests and features, it has a general lack of polish and so forth. Please remember it's the very first version and thus very rough. Over the coming months the mod will get new items, new quests, new scenes, new features and much more.

L'Aigle Singleplayer Open Alpha 1.0

If you're not familiar with the mod or need a refresher, here is our latest trailer again:

The mod should be available from the 'downloads' section of this profile or one of the various mirrors that are going up soon. I'll update this news post as they are added.

Please read the description on the file and the read me contained within the .rar. I hope you enjoy the mod and I hope it gives you a taste of what's to come in the future.

You'll need to build yourself up enough renown to become a General/Fieldmarshal. As you can't buy them. I think you need about 800 renown.

I had to log in just to comment on this freaking well made work of art.

This is, BY WAY TO FAR, one of the best mods I've ever played on Warband, I've been following this since day one, eagerly waiting to get my hands on it and I was not displeased not ONE BIT. Good work DEVS, songs of legend will be sung in your honor in every one of my Warband kingdoms.

Can't wait for the full one to come out!!!

Will there eventually be more clothing options for the female gender? Even the lowest born Spanish guerrilla requires elegant disguises. Also, for my male character, I want to woo Lady Fanny by buying her a best dress from Bond street made from finest cotton, grown by African kids.
